@newboy hmm magkaiba, pero start palang nung process binigay ko na lahat ng requirements ko, medical at IELTS nalang wala ko, di pa kasi confirm kung kelangan ko pa ng IELTS

@sheril slamat, dna need ng ielts pag 5 years ka sa isang school na medium of instruction ay english.. certificate na lng po need mo 🙂

@newboy hindi pa yata approved e. Puro follow up na nga si migration agent, nagbigay na nga rin si employer ng "letter of genuine position" sa dibp officer... wala pa rin, dedma.

@sheril oo nga sana ma approve na tayo lahat. Sa Australia nila na inaasikaso yung visa ko. Aussie din ung migration agent ko.

@Moxie yes, may immigration agent, pero sarili siya ng company eh, di ko alam kung dun talaga siya or hired siya exclusive para sa company.

@mykaelangelo05 kapag approved na ang nomination at wala ng hininging required documents mabilis na. ung sa akin nagrant after 5 days na maapproved ung nomination. im not sure lang kapag dumaan sa agency.

congrats po sa lahat ng na Grant for the Visa 🙂

anyway, i would like to suggest and seek an advice regarding my Scenario.

I am in a mist of my 457 Visa application. however, I still need to have an Skills Interview assessment and Practical Assessement to be assess by William Anglis on April 05,07 2016 at Lyceum. Btw, i am applying for a Chef Position in Sydney.

In line with this, i just had my IELTS exam yesterday (02APR16). everything went well naman and i hope makakuha ng okay na score.

We are group of Chefs that would be working under 457 Visa. It has a program to be followed. They will provide our accommodation for a month only in SYD, after that we should find an accommodation.

I asked the employer, sabi niya, wala sa program kasi na family status ung process kasi may accommodation kami once pag dating.

She suggested na after ko mag settle down for a while sa SYD, chaka ako mag lodge nang visa for them. hindi ba ako mas mapapamahal?

or, pwde rin ba na isabay ko lang sila sa lodge ng visa, pero after that hindi ko muna sila isasabay sa pag alis ko. gano katagal bago mag expire ang visa for dependent?

target mobilization ng employer for the Chefs is September 2016 since nasa 8 Chefs kami na under 457 Visa.

i hope this would enlighten me and can get an ideas and support from you guys

@johnadrielle_santos Hello! 🙂 for you to be able to include your family members as dependent on your 457 visa - once approved ka na. They term this as "Subsequent Entrant". You need to secure a letter from your employer stating that they are extending their sponsorship to your dependents. Only until you have this letter can you apply for subsequent entrant 457 visa.

Yes this will cost you more as you will be paying a base fee for the main applicant. so more or less same fee nung 457 visa mo.

In my case, after I have received my grant, I automatically applied for my dependents visa. It took me just a month to receive their grant and the visa they got had the same expiry period as mine.

@johnadrielle_santos hello! yung case ko naman sabay kami nagprocess ni partner ng visa, dependent ko siya. about sa cost, sagot lahat ng employer ko eh.
