Good day everyone! Just wanted to ask, it’s my first time to apply for a tourist visa (lodged August 30, they asked for my biometrics and I’ve complied as well). I have attached an intent letter explaining my main purpose of visit which is to explore Australia. Furthermore, since I will be visiting Brisbane and Gold Coast, I have mentioned in the said letter as well that I will be visiting a close friend who is an Australian citizen who resides in Brisbane. My question is, is it a requirement to have my friend’s invitation letter even though my main purpose is for tourism; and I will be shouldering all my expenses from airfare, hotel accommodation, and other miscellaneous expenses during the duration of my stay in Australia (less than two weeks only). I have mentioned as well in my application through immi that I am an aircrew and have been to Australia (SYD, CBR, PER, ADL, MEL) countless times on a layover sans any Australian visa. And have attached everything (out of the limit of 60 files, I have attached 60) from entry/ exit stamps from my travels (3 old passports, and the recent one), various visas (schengen, US, chinese, turkish visa etc.), my savings account in the PH, my payslip, COE (been employed since 2010), title deed of my car in PH, 6 months bank statement of a bank in the current country where I’m in, family photo (proof that I have my parents and bros living in PH), insurance certificate, airline ticket (return), itinerary (just an overview but not that detailed) etc. Hopefully you can shed some light concerning my predicament, cheers! Apologies for the long post.
