interstate job offer (fairwork)

Guys, question lang po, can a company deny you a job offer for a reason na you are living in Melbourne and not in Sydney even though you are not requiring relocation or any special assistance and willing to move anytime? Appreciate your feedback, thank you. May information po ba about this sa FairWork

@Birhen_ng_Guadalupe yes po, because the hiring manager is interested but it seem's it's an HR issue or company policy they say, that is why I wan't to know if there are rules in Australia about that to supersede that so called rule. I will understand this if you are outside the country and they need to apply for sponsorship
