Sana matulungan nyo po kami. Iisa-isahin ko na lng po ang scenerio.

Currently my wife is working as an Early Childhood teacher in Singapore for almost 5 yrs this year. We are planning and hoping to work, apply for PR in Australia.

She has an AB English degree in CNU, Cebu and a licensed secondary English teacher here in the Phils.
Unfinished MA in Lit in Cebu
She studied Diploma in Chid Psychology in Singapore

She doesn't have a degree, diploma nor cert in ECE, but she's planning to take an "Advance Certificate in Early Years" in Singapore while working. - Tanong dito makakatulong ba?

No IELTS yet

Ano po ba dapat namin gawin mga hakbang pa? Like the basic steps pra maka-proceed sa pagpapa-assess na tiyak ang pagpasa?

Ano po ba kaibahan ng AITSL and ACECQA? Sino ba dapat sa dalawa ang assessing body sa ECE?

Hello po. 15 years na po akong English Teacher dito sa Bangkok at plan ko sana mag try naman sa AU mag work - any State ok lang.

Pwede mo po ba akong mabigyan ng any tip kung anong mga possible steps na gagawin ko para makapag-work jan?

Bachelor in Elementary Education po ang degree ko. Will AITSL consider my degree if magpapaasses ako for ECE?
If ever hindi po, kung kukuha po ba ako ng diploma in Early Childhood, makakatulong po ba iyon sa assessment? Kasi po meron po akong nakitang univ dito sa PH na nagooffer. Gusto ko lang po makasigurado kung mas maapprove po ako if kunin ko po siya. Baka po kasi masayang lang.

tanong ko lang po, may chance kaya na makapagturo ng early childhood jan kung ang experience ko dito sa pinas ay grade 4? pero ang undergrad course ko ay ECE pati ang MA ko ECE din. thank you.

Yup, definitely a big chance. My qualifications were considered as equivalent to a Primary School Teacher, so I had to take a diploma in ECE and now I am teaching in Kindergarten. 🙂

IELTS Academic, minimum of 7.0 in the Reading and Writing components, then minimum of 8.0 in the Speaking and Listening components.

Hi @sunflower ... 189 visa ba yung gamit mo to enter sa Australia or yung student? Kailan ka ng enroll ng ECE? yung nasa Australia kana or dito pa sa Phil.? Thank you sa lahat ng info..very helpful po siya.

Hello! Yes, I have a 189 visa. I already have a degree in education but it was assessed as equivalent to a Primary School Teacher qualification, so in order to work in the early childhood field, I had to enrol in an ECE diploma course. I applied through Tafe as soon as I landed in Australia. Are you planning to do the PR visa route or the student visa route?

@sunflower Thank you sa reply. I am planning to take the Student Visa Route because it is faster to get .January Intake. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education Major in Pre-School Education. Base on the comments here, I need to enroll in ECE diploma course so I will be qualified to teach in Early childhood then apply for PR Visa.. Do you think I can apply for PR Visa while studying the ECE diploma? What can you advise me to do? Thank you..

This might help you especially those who struggle to get 8.0 in their IELTS speaking sub-test. I just had my visa granted today (Visa 457) and I am set to go to Australia by the 3rd week of April. Here is my timeline:

April-May 2016: IELTS Review

May 21, 2016: Took the IELTS (R-9 L-8.5 S-7.5 W-7 OBS-8)

June 24, 2016: Passed requirements to ACECQA for qualifications assessment

June 30, 2016: ACECQA accepted requirements

August 30, 2016: Received letter outcome (Qualifications Equivalent to approved ECE Qualifacations in Australia)

September-October 2016: Applied for different jobs online (Some emailed back but asked for a teacher registration)

Hi po, so is a score below 8 accepted for ACECQA? Kasi as I have checked, 8 ung kailangan for it. https://www.acecqa.gov.au/sites/default/files/2018-07/Qualification_guidelines_for_individual_applicants_3.pdf See Page 2 of the document. I am now a little confused. Was their requirement lower at the time that you had your qualifications assessed by ACECQA? Thank you!

@energeticpineapple mine was assessed last 2017. And it should be at least 7 for reading and writing and 8 For listening and speaking. I got the required score on the second attempt.

matagal ba assessment sa AITSL? hindi kasi pwd online submission sa requirements at kailangan ipadala via post.
