VETASSESS question

Hello po,

Nagbbackground check po ba si vet at the assessment stage pa lang? Like for example di nya magets kng ano ung position mo. Has anyone here in pinoyau na naka experience ng ganyan? The asssessment is prolonging my agony. It has been 12 weeks since they received my documents for skills assessment plus PTA. 🙁 (sigh)

@Arch_Onin - first of all, your agent should know better.. bakt kailangan pang sabihin ang title mo sa COE mo eh "Archi Draftsperson", pwede naman na iba ang title mo sa COE, pero ang job description mo is according to the ANZSCO definition of your nominated occupation..

in this case, pag inassess ka nila, alam nila na napromote ka or tumaas ang level mo, pero nandun pa rin ang sa job description mo ang Archi draftsperson.. kumbaga relevant/related occupation pa rin...

i really cannot think of any other way, but to take the risk..

submit all your documents and hopefully vetassess will understand na iba iba ang title mo,

pero relevant pa rin sa "Archi Draftsperson" ang lahat ng ginagawa mo..

yes they do.. for my sister's application, they called HR, email her boss 3x.. and now it's on the 16th week..

that is how they do their assessment, of course they need to validate if your documents are authentic..

kung marami kayong pina-assess/PTA na mga jobs/company, medyo tatagal ng konti..

pero kung 1-2 companies lang, approx 12 weeks ang estimate..

Hi @lock_code2004 kala ko meron na result sister mo kasi nauna sya ng ilang araw sa pagpasa diba. So magmatter talaga kung ilang company ang sinali mo. Sa akin isa lang kaya 11 weeks dumating na result.di ko rin alam kung tumawag sila sa manager namin before.

@Strader - wala pa nga eh.. last week, nagemail sa kanya ung CO, and nag rerequest ng Stat Dec, tapos sinabi, but that won't matter kasi hindi nmn daw mag-add ng points sa PTA, kung hindi daw mag submit, they will proceed with the result excluding that work exp..

yung hinhingi nila state dec kasi less than 1 year lang ung experience na yun for that particular company (total work exp nya around 6 yrs), pag hindi sinama un 1 yr, so mga 5 years lang ang macredit.. so sabi namin, wag na mag stat dec and proceed with the results.. until now wla pa result.. heheh..

we're all praying na sana positive ang result.. O:-)

iniisip namin baka negative yung result, but then bakt pa sya hihingian ng stat dec kung negative lang din nmn pala ang assessment... waaa...

Hehehe sobrang inip na siguro ung sister mo...imagine umabot na ng 4mos.. matagal ang mga result nila ngayon kesa last year pansin ko lang. Marami cguro nagpaassess sa kanila. ^^

@lock_code2004 - ang sabi ng agent, kumuha din ng payslips and additional documents na same position as what I applied. Parang ang dali nung pinapagawa nila no. tinry ko din naman magrequest kaso hindi lahat nag-agree sympre legal documents ung hinihingi ko tapos pinapabago ng agency. hindi talaga kaya. at first, ung agency ko ang nakadirect sa vetassess, pero ngaun hiningi ko na ung email address ng kausap nila sa vet. no choice ako, kelangan magexplain sa vet or else my application will take for ages kung ipipilit ng agency ung mga imposibleng hinihingi nila.

@Arch_Onin - ang hirap nyan.. i can understand the agent's side, gusto nila plantsado ang documents, pare-pareho ang job title.. pero mahirap gawin nga un..

my opinion on this, just be honest with vetassess.. they will validate the authenticity of all your documents.. so baka mapapalitan mo nga ung ibang docs, pero pag nagtanong sila sa mga company eh makalimutan ng HR nyo na pinalitan pala.. tapos magkakaiba ba ng sinasabi..ang daming pwedeng mangyari..

ang point naman ng assessment is the skills (contained in your job description) and not on the job title.. vetassess would know that for sure... goodluck sir!

maraming salamat mam, I'll keep you posted kung anong magyari sa application. Mamaya magsend nko ng additional docs sa kanila. Para skin, no point na magtago kung qualified naman.. gawa nlang ako ng letter with contact references ng mga company ko para madalian sila if ever gusto nilang tawagan lahat. Nahirapan lang ako sa advice ng agency nagpaulit ulit ang pagrequest ko ng mga reqts.. I hope and pray na sana maconsider talga ng vet ang case ko..

Hello @lock_code2004, most likely it might take the same weeks as your sister yung application ko. Pang-ilang week po ba bago kayo hiningan ng additional documents? Tinanong ko sa kasamahan ko dati if meron bang nagcheck, wala naman daw. I have 3 companies including yung new company ko but 4 positions. Baka nga kaya matagal dahil dyan.

Hopefully, positive ang result un lang ang importante. Thanks a lot, d pala ako nag-iisa. 🙂

@cylin - they started checking mga 10th wk, until 13th wk, tapos 15th wk nag-ask ng additional stat dec for Point Test Advice, 16th wk sinabi na ready na for decision.. now it's the 18th wk..

medyo complicated kasi ang case nya, she is applying for a Manager job code, pero hindi manager ang title nya (supervisor/asst manager level), pero based on the anzsco code, her job description, validated by their company, signed by boss and HR, saktong sakto ang ginagawa nya...

i agree, as long as positive yun ang importante..

Hhhmmm.. Parang marami ata akong napapansin na nagkakaron ng problema sa pagsecure ng detailed COE tsaka mga additional reqts like payslip. Would it be ok kaya if i'll just include those positions that I held here in SG from 2 companies rather than include those work that was way back in PH? Mahihirapan kasi ako kung isasama ko pa yung sa pinas kasi yung iba dun wala ako payslip at wala rin sa sss contribution. Anyway, yung experience ko naman dito sa SG (6plus years) is already enough to satisfy the required number of years to claim 10points. In this case, kelangan ko pa po ba magpoints test advice?

advisable ang PTA kung iba ibang company or iba-ibang job ttile ang work mo.. para may basis ang DIAC sa pagclaim mo ng points.. pag hindi ka nag PTA, ang i-aassess lang nila ung minimum requirements ng vetassess (check their job groupings, iba iba ang min work exp requirements).. but if it is just me, i'll get PTA for peace of mind..

Great! ganito na nga lang ang gagawin ko para di masyadong hassle at di rin masyado maantala ang pagkolekta ko ng mga necessary documents.

Just to clarify lang po ha:

Kapag halimbawa isa lang na work experience ang ipapaassess ko, yung detailed COE lang din ba ng job na yun ang kelangan kong isubmit for assessment?
No need to submit na ba yung mga COE from other jobs in PH?
How about dun sa resume/ CV, di rin dapat isasama yung ibang work experience?

If this is the case then I may not need to go back to PH because all the necessary docs are already available here in SG. I don’t want to prolong the agony kaya gusto ko na maisubmit ang application ko as soon as possible.

yes. kung ano lang ipapa-assess mo na work exp yun lang kailangan mo na docs (COE, detailed job desc, other docs like payslip, tax return, contract.. etc)
NO need to provide docs for PH jobs, kasi hindi mo nmn pala isasama eh
you can still include that in your resume, pero hindi nmn nila titingnan un, dahil hindi mo nmn isasama..

if you haven't looked at the payment/fee structure for vetassess PTA, iba ang bayad depende sa dami ng company/work exp na ipapa-assess mo.. so pag-apply mo, since 1 company lang , naturally ang babayaran mo lang ung pang 1 company..

dahil 1 company lang binayaran mo (as part of your assessment) yun lang ang i-evaluate ng vetassess.. so kahit magsama ka ng ibang docs for other comapny, kung hindi ka nman nagbayad, wala din.. no pay no assessment.. 😉

Ang tagal..,, mag 10 weeks plng ako 4 companies with PTA. Dapat mag hire sila ng additional na tao. Nagstart yta sila asikasuhin docs mo after 2 months pa
