@kremitz - as of today, hindi sila nag babawas ng work exp like ACS....

yes, she should avail of the PTA.. para may basis sa kung anong iclaim sa educ qualification and work experience, sa pag-submit ng EOI.

mas mahirap ang mag over-claim sa EOI, tapos hindi nmn pala tama ang claim.. eh masayang lang ang visa application in the end..

Ok thanks. For those pala working in banks, what are the occupations na nasa sol/csol? Parang wala ata dun sa schedule 1 and 2 eh. I dunno where to find din kc yung may job description eh

@lock_code2004 Hi Sir, if you don't mind ano po yung job ng sister niyo? Medyo nag-alala lang ako ng sinabi niyong complicated yun case niya kasi yung nominated occupation is "Manager" pero nde naman Manager yung job title niya. Like ako po ganun din ang nominated occupation ko is Conference and Event Organiser under Managers siya. Pero yung mga job title ko is Events Executive, Senior Officer for Events etc. Ibig sabihin po ba complicated din saken? kasi samin sa Events ang tawag naman samin in general is Events Manager pero not necessary managerial level.

@wizz - my sister's occupation code is Restaurant/Cafe Manager..

based on the anzsco code, pareho ang ginagawa nya, it's just that hindi manager ang title nya..

we just received the result, and unfortunately it's unsuccessful.. we will wait for the letter to know the reason/s why..

ang dami nilang tinanong sa boss/hr ng company, like ilan ang taong reporting sa kanya, anu anu mga title, mga job functions.. etc.. the boss/hr answered it correctly (same as the anzsco code).. alam namin kasi pinabasa sa amin ang mga letter/replies between vetassess and hr/boss..

Her degree is BS Business Admin, and working for atleast 8 years sa different hotel/restos.. kaya we are clueless kung bakit negative..

baka may hinahanap lang silang ibang job responsibilities/factor na hindi namin naconsider...

one thing na medyo complicated, she reports to a Resto Gen Manager. This person handles two restos, one managed by someone (resto manager din ang title), and the other being managed by my sister (supervisor title kasi nga hindi pa sya na promote as manager).

i'll let you know once we received the letter..

@lock_code2004 thank you sir sa immediate reply. sana po magkaroon ng linaw once nareceive niyo na yung letter at malaman kung saan ba nagkulang. Baka in doubt sila kasi Restaurant Supervisor. Siguro ang dating talaga yung boss niya na GM ang nagmamanage pa dn tapos Supervise lang sya even though that's not the case since yung sister niyo naman na ang nagmamanage talaga ng isang resto. At isa pa ang tagal-tagal na dn ng work experience niya. Anyway, sana talaga maging okay.

Nireview ko din tuloy yung details nung sa akin. Sana maging okay at this point wala na din naman magagawa kung mag-alala at nasubmit ko na antay-antay nalang sa result. Last May lang po ako nagpasa baka by August pa yun saken. Balitaan ko dn po kayo.

Pareho lang po ang processing time ng assessment sa vetassess, with or without the PTA. The advantage po of applying the PTA together with the assessment is that you save the additional waiting time of another 8-10 weeks again IF you apply it after your skills assessment is positive.

As was my experience po...nanigurado po kasi ako na positive muna ang skills assessment ko kasi mahal din po yung PTA, in case na negative yung skills assessment ko... I guess with the current situation na marami pong changes happening and about to happen sa processing, it may really be more advantageous to apply the PTA along with skills assessment.

You can search by keying-in the code (Example: Financial Investment Manager= search for 222312). You can refer the job titles and codes from http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/_pdf/sol-schedule1-2.pdf...kung saan po fit yung mga work experience niya so you can nominate the specific skill.

The abs.gov.au link gives you the minimum qualifications to meet at the description na din ng duties and responsibilities to meet.

@vhoythoy - malapit nyo na po makuha results. Mine took around 12 weeks din po. On line po ba ang application niyo? if yes, you will bw able to view the status. All the best po! 🙂

90min ago, i receive an email from vetasses that the skills assessment was completed (pls check online) and that the results was posted today. kaso offline na ang vetasses 60min ago and will be online only on July 1! i wasnt able to check.

question (hay heartbeat heartbeat!).. pag ba positive e nilalagay agad nila sa email na positive? or negative if that is the case?

awww ilang araw ako kakabahan nito!

thanks @Strader .. pinag iisipan ko kung mag eemail ako sa vetasses to request for advance copy of the result kahit by fax or scanned.. nagbibigay ba cla kung ang reason ko is para umabot sa WA aplication before july 1? aww last working day na bukas bago mag july 1..
