@kaidenMVH ah oki, salamat! Pwede pala kahit medyo iba yung job title hehe. Yung work duties ko kasi hanggang SD stage lng usually, kaya wala ako masyado experience sa bidding/tendering/estimating. Talagang puro drawing lng kaya baka mas ok na draftsperson ang applyan ko na assessment than architect. University of Sydney po ang papasukan ko, pero hindi MArch, kaya pakiramdam ko mas madali kung sa vetassess ako than sa AACA magpa-assess.

@athelene I always advice my clients that it's easy to use an occupation which is lower level. With regards to job titles, it really doesn't matter. The duties are more important. Skills assessment is tye make or break so make sure you've covered everything required by the authority. All the best!

@athelene yup. ok po yan kasi kahit ma positive ka sa AACA ngayon, for visa application purposes lang yun, you still need to be accredited and take their exam to be recognized as Architect. kaya why go through all the hassle :-)

sa pagkakaalam ko MArch lang recognized ng AACA at NSW board of architects. yun iba like master's in urban planning ibang org ang nagbibigay ng accreditation. Balak ko din sana kung kaya pa ng time at budget kasi iba na pag may family hehe. mejo kailangan i balance, pero i'm looking into UNSW kasi parang mas open sila sa part timers.

@kaidenMVH oo nga po, at mahal din po yung assessment fee hehe. Baka pag mas nakaipon na saka ko susubukan magpaassess sa aaca. Nag-inquire ako actually sa aaca kung papaano yung postgrad degree from Australia na hindi MArch, sabi nila pwede isama yung Australian degree sa OQA application as long as archi-related. Ah mas ok yung unsw for part-timers? Then ok din pala hehe. Go for it sir @kaidenMVH 🙂

@kat28 me, management consultant yung pinapaassess ko. In progress pa din yung status ng application ko. I am on my 7th week. Kakaba kaba. Wala pang notice from vetassess since i filed my application.

ibabawas nila yun 1st year, which is considered as qualifying year. kumbaga parang rookie ka pa lang nun, and hindi ka pa considered as skilled. then yun isang work ko di na count kasi talagang malayo sya, pero 3 months lang naman yun duration dun.

@kaidenMVH ay hala, then hindi ako makakaclaim ng 5 years overseas work experience kung ibabawas nila yung 1 year 🙁 sakto 5 years po kasi ang work experience ko (2 years sa pinas, then 3 years sa taiwan)

pd ka pa din naman pa assess. as long as positive un assessment may points pa din yun 3-5 years na work exp. 5 points din yun. 5-8 is 10 points & 8-10 years is 15 points.

@kaidenMVH iniisip ko sana i-claim yung 5 years, pero kung 4 years lng ang macclaim ko because of that one "rookie" year, sayang yung 5 points. i wonder kung pwede ko kaya ma-compensate yun by working part-time sa Australia while student visa?

For those who are applying for vetassess assessment and you dont have any AU address sa forms you dont need to pay the GST and submit any evidences.

Contract - *only have a copy of work visa, is this ok?

Payslip - none, as we are paid by cash personally

Contract - OK

Payslip - Lost

Iniisip ko po kung may kelangan po ba akong iproduce na StatDec for any of which?

Your coe must include the following information:

start and end date of employment
position/s held
compensation
status of employment
working hours

Dapat printed din cya with company letterhead. If wala yang mga information na yan and generic lang ang coe need mo ng stat dec.

Regarding evidence of paid employment if walang payslip pede itr. If wala bank statement or mga contribution sa sss, philhealth or pagibig. Yan yung mga nabasa ko dito if wala sila payslip.

Visit vetassess website andon ung list of document requirements.

Sorry about sa term "generic", meaning eto un standard format na binibigay ng company & they are saying na they cannot state more than anything aside sa format nila as this is as per company's SOP.

Anyway, un mga CoE ko naman is printed with company's letterhead, stating my start-end date, position & compensation, un iba may working hours.

Now about sa proof of payment, which is un iba ay wala ako. Check ko kung makakakuha ako ng file sa SSS or BIR. If not, do I have to provide Stat Dec.?
