Hi to all! Nag initial entry na po kmi sa Perth last October 29th and got back here in Singapore last November 5th.
We renewed my child passport and update DIBP by sending form 929 together with the copy of new and old passports to immigration.southeastasia@dfat.gov.au. last October 18th. They replied the same day telling me that they already updated my child's passport information. I also checked VEVO, and updated na agad sya. However, when we arrived at the airport, they still had to verify my child's passport. Pero few minutes lng nman and hindi malaking abala.
Monday last week, we went to Perth CBD to meet my NAB banker and submit our medicare application as well as centrelink. We also applied for TFN online. All went well except for my NAB, i was quite disappointed, they still don't have the cards with them, even if I already notified them two weeks ahead of my arrival. They told me the card would arrive 4-5 days pa. Sabi ko Friday babalikan ko, but she said she don't want to commit coz baka daw Monday p dumating. (Saturday is our flight back here) So i said, cge pagbalik ko na lng ng January. 🙁
Our friend informed us yesterday that they received the letter bearing our TFNs as well as the Centrelink confirmation letters. So 1 week lang halos ang waiting time. Waiting for Medicare na lang.
Australians are nice people. So far, okay nman experience nmen habang nagaayos ng mga dapat ayusin. We are also able to confirm and experience kung paano b ang pamumuhay don. Sobrang relaxed. Sobrang gusto na namen talaga don. Haha Preparing for big move na kmi. Hopefully by end of January.
