hello march batch!
dahil sobrang helpful tong forum nato during my journey, gusto ko lang sana mag-pay it forward sa mga plano pa mag lodge.
after ko matanggap ang ITA, ni-transfer ko lang lahat details sa immiaccount (para sa hindi pa nakapag-submit, dito kayo officially maglo-lodge ng application). ZERO supporting documents, hindi ako nag frontload. may reason ako for this to be disclosed later 🙂
so after around 2 weeks, nag contact si CO asking for ALL the documents, kasi nga wala akong ni isang inupload. 7 lahat hiningi sa akin:
professional assessment (ACS) english test results (IELTS)
educational qualification (bachelor's degree) work experience (naka-limang company na ako)
police clearance (SG and PH/NBI) medical results
- passport bio page (certified true copy)
after kong sinubmit to, 15 attachments lang sila lahat (including meds result confirmation kahit hindi kelangan, at 5 companies work reference). akala ko OK na, pero may nabasa ako na halos 40 attachments ung isang candidate. so bigla akong kinabahan. turns out, ok lang pala na work reference lang, walang payslip at tax assessment (ITR/ IRAS). so na-maintain ko ung 15 attachments lang.
so ano ung lessons learned:
as with common knowledge, if gusto mabilis matapos, mag front load kasi mas malaki ang chances for direct grant. if may reason ka not to front load (which is sa case ko), pwede walang document na i-attach. pag na-assign ka ng CO, magse-send siya lahat ng comprehensive list of requirements (sa case ko, ung 7 above). bayad lang kelangan.
make sure na pag nagupload ka, ni-follow mo lahat ng requirements para hindi ka na balikan at hingan ule ni CO. important: pag work reference sinubmit mo, make sure to follow the format by the letter (like the words must be existing: FULLTIME/PARTIME, PERMANENT/TEMPORARY, company header, contact details, amongst others)
- as much as possible, recent date dapat ung certified true copy timestamp. but for historical documents like educational qualification, past work experience (not current company), ok lang kung older date.
so there, kaya niyo yan para sa mga maglo-lodge pa, and all the best sa mga naghihintay ng results! 🙂
