And as a small Christmas gift from me to the community, I’m excited to share that Web Push Notifications are now officially available on Pinoy AU (Desktop & Mobile Browser)! 🎉
This means you can now receive Real-time Notification ALERTS! — mentions, replies, private discussions, and more — straight to your Mobile device or Desktop.
This upgrade also prepares us for new services launching soon, including Pinoy AU Pasabuy, where fast and reliable updates will help buyers and travelers coordinate smoothly and safely.

🔧 How to Enable Push Notifications
Follow these simple steps (Desktop or Mobile Browser):
1️⃣ Go to your Settings page

or click here
2️⃣ Click the yellow “OPT IN” button
You’ll find it under the Notifications section.
3️⃣ When your browser asks for permission, click “Allow”
This gives PinoyAU permission to send notifications.
4️⃣ Make sure your preferred notification types are enabled
Examples:
Someone mentions me in a post
Someone replies to one of my posts
Private discussion updates
Just tick the Push column (✓) for the items you want to receive.
5️⃣ You're all set!
You should now receive push notifications instantly — especially useful for ongoing private discussions, replies, and future Pasabuy transactions.
⚠️ Having issues?
Push notifications depend on browser support — there may be occasional hiccups.
