Hello everyone! I'm new here please be kind. Hehe. Please feel free to give your honest insights as to plan namin ng fiance ko.
We want to move to Australia once I pass the bar exam. I'm 26 and have no work experience since I went straight to law school and full time student pa. My fiance is 28 and has over 9 years experience as a seafarer and ngayon 2nd mate (Deck Officer / 231214)
Plan 1: From what I understand sa research ko, possible for my fiance to have his skills assessed and to be nominated by an employer / under a DAMA agreement get a sponsorship / ROL under 484 visa only, and no other visa options for him in this role.
- While this is much much preferred route, I can't find anything online of any success stories na employers who sponsor for these roles. We tried looking on seek and indeed and reached out to some listed companies na may public DAMA agreement to no avail. If you know of anyone who's had success taking on this route please do share
Plan 2: SV route. Have my juris doctor degree assessed, take required units and apply as a Solicitor. Get some experience and try for PR.
- Though it's a really really expensive route but it's in the MLTSSL and CSOL list.
-If you can please share rin insights as to how competitive or how difficult getting a PR for this route is
Plan 3: SV for Certificate III in Marine Craft Construction for my fiance. Gain experience and apply as Boat Builder and Repairer.
- MLTSSL;CSOL
- This in consideration because school fees is muuuuch cheaper compared to the school fees if mag take ng law units.
would really appreciate your honest insight kung ano pinaka viable na option na pwede ma itake. Taking any info we can get thank you so muchh!! :
