Hi, sharing based on common experience of onshore applicants:
If you’re waiting for 186 DE onshore and plan to travel to PH using a Bridging Visa B (BVB), here’s what usually applies:
PDOS – required
Even if matagal ka na sa Australia, as long as hindi pa granted ang PR, and babalik ka sa AU to continue working PH Immigration normally requires PDOS. Without it, may risk of offloading kahit may valid AU visa.
OEC – usually not required
For those long-term resident na sa AU returning to the same employer hindi newly hired from PH
Most fall under balik-manggagawa exemption. Still, bring proof (old visas, payslips, employer letter) just in case.
Applying BVB early is a good move for travel security.
Hope this helps and safe travels!
