Graduate Skilled Visa and Bridging Visa

Hi, guys. Sino sa inyo nakapag apply nito after ng study? Talaga bang 2 years dapat yung duration mg study para maging eligible dito? Kasi yung sa akin 3 years suppose to be since credited ibang subjects ko naging 1 year na. I just want to have high hopes after my study na in case di makahanap ng sponsor pupuede ako dito or sa bridging visa. Hehe.

Yes its 2 years study in Australia and u will granted the visa.

pero kng hindi k nmn eligible at d m mmakomplete ung requirments s graduate skilled u cnt be grnted the visa,howver u may contact s migration agent kc expert sila nyn at may paraan.

Automatic po ba pagkatapos ng Bridging Visa, mabibigyan na rin kayo ng PR visa? O pahirapan pa rin?

Hi sa nabasa ko for your enquiry.....ang qualify for bridging visa ay yong mga na imbitahan na na ng DIAC at mag lodge na ng application nila (that's after submission of EOI then ma imbitahan yong EOI nnyo)..so ang pathway student visa- 485 or graduate skilled visa-EOI- if positive lodge ng application within 60 days upon receiving the invite from DIAC at pag makalodge na pwede na maqualify for the bridging visa while processing of a new visa is ongoing at mag expire yong substantive na visa (485)....

Graduate visa has two streams .u could get 18 months or more . I know the migration agent has experience with that visa.if ur application is valid and u r in Australia u will granted a bridging visa straight away.

thats exactly our next stage next year...after sa masters ni mrs then graduate visa (485 18 months visa) and within that period ay mag professional year siya to get additional 5 points then after PY maglodge kami ng EOI.....

update lang....matatapos ni wifey yong masters niya ngayong June and by July mag apply na kami ng 485 graduate temporary visa......sa friend ni wifey ngayon nakaka 7 months na siya sa bridging visa niya for her 485 visa at wala pa ang result ng new visa application nya....positive to sa kanya dahil pagdating ng 485 niya pwede na siya maglodge ng EOI niya at mas mahaba ang pag antay niya sa result ng EOI niya.....

Basta po ba naka-2 years of study (ex. package course 572) sa Australia, eligible na to apply for graduate visa/bridging visa? Or kelangan bachelor course or masters (573/574)? Salamat! 🙂

dagdag ko lang.....to be eligible for the 485 graduate temporary visa, one must nominate an occupation which is included in the SOL

excited for my wife's conclusion of her studies by June this year....hopefully accountant would still be included in SOL.....my hope is that it would still be there considering the recent stand of those accountants' bodies and the recent revenue by the OZ government from all those international accounting students.....anyway wait and see guys.....

Hi @danyan2001us, thank you so much for your reply 🙂 I checked the link pero wala akong nabasa na pwede siya for graduates of subclass 572 visa. It only mentioned graduates of bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree. Iyong cousin ko kasi narefuse dati sa 572, so iniisip niya mag-apply ulit pero 573 (SVP) na to take advantage of this post-study work arrangement.

@rinbee ...thats good bro.....ano yong cousin mo may pamilya ba? maganda dito pag couple bro kasi makakatulong sa financial obligation ang partner lalo na if mag masters kasi unlimited work rights ang dependent sa masters na student.....

Yap, bale 2 sila ng husband niya, pero plan ng cousin ko mag-bachelor course, not Masters. I'll ask her kung gusto niya or if she's eligible for master's degree. Graduate kasi siya ng Bachelor of Commerce dito sa atin. Thanks for the suggestion 🙂

@rinbee ..ok ..i would suggest brod na masters kukunin nya dahil hindi naman ganong kalaki ang diperensya sa tuition....like sa bachelors ay 6k$ a semester then sa masters kay 9,000$ pero ang masters naman ay unlimted work rights ang dependent so ang laki ng diperensya

After completion of a 2-yr. course in AU under student visa 572. I am interested to lodge for a Temp. Working visa 485, which takes 12 months to process (DIBP info).

Would like to ask po sana if anyone out there knows the answers to my questions:

Will the bridging Visa granted to you when you apply for Grad. Work Visa 485 allow you to work? Full-time or part-time? Sabi kase sa DiBP website, only if you can prove that you are in hardship (masyado atang gray area yun).
If I have my kids with me, are they allowed to study under a bridging visa given while waiting for visa 485?

@coleen ...hi ..you are allowed to work full time when you are on a bridging visa A (while waiting for the outcome of your application of 485 graduate temporary visa)....and with regard to your kids' education, they are allowed to study as stated in your 572 visa condition. Meanwhile, ang pagprocess ng bridging visa is usually between 6 months to 1 year so kailangan nong magpatuloy mabayad sa school fees on this waiting period. And once your 485 graduate temporary visa is approved, you must provide documents to the school on these changes. Hope this helps.
