Tama ba decision nmin na pumunta na sa Oz w/ or w/o work sa January? Better yata humanap muna ng job d2 sa Pinas compared na andun ka na mas malaki gastos. Kktapos lng ng final interview ni hubby via Skype. Sna matanggap. Mukang gusto cya ng employer kaso Brisbane ung ofis eh State Sponsored kmi ng Sydney Kaya hndi parin sure unless pumayag na sa Sydney ofis cya ma-deploy.

@m_chie1609 hello, IT ako, Business Analyst. Pumunta kmi dito ng walang work. 3mos ako ngantay sa work. Mostly kse ng employers dito gusto nandito na ang candidate for personal interviews pero baka sa iba ok lng ang skype, wala pa ako nabalitaan na nakakuha ng work dito bago mgmigrate pero meron yung compny nila jan sa pinas eh meron din sito sa australia so an ngyyre is lipat lang. pero un tlgang new job na sa pinas pa nakuha prang wala pako nabalitaan, pero baka sa iba meron. Usually kse tlga 2-3mos ang average waiting time to find a job. Yung iba mg oodd jobs muna while waiting for the right job, pero hindi rin madali matanggap sa odd job, like me ang dami ko inaplyan, as in lahat name it naaplyan ko kahit dishwasher pero hindi ako tinangap kse overqualified daw. God is good. His timing is always right. Minsan kasi sa gigil natin mgkawork lalo nagiging mailap. Bsta do ur part na everyday magapply, galingan sa interview then bahala na si Lord. 🙂 God bless!

Yes yun ang pnkamabigat. Ngapply kmi bahay, proof income namin un bank statements pinas and dito. Un xerox ng passbook namin pinas at dito pinasa din, at pnkamabigat ngoffer kmi ng advance payment for 2mos. Personal references na taga dito Australia, di ko na maalala ano pa pinasa namin pra sa approval ng bahay. Hehe @Anino78

@hennessy pareho kyo ni hubby kso pwde cya functional/technical ng SAP, nswertehan lng cguro nya tong company nato, mukang ttangihan lng nya if ever na hndi cya pwde ilagay sa Sydney. Sa IT din ako, quality and process improvement. Hopefully mkakuha ng job b4 kmi maginitial entry. Thanks sa advice ha. Consider ko din ung bnigay mong expenses. San po pla kayo sa OZ?

@hennessy I agree with you. Turn around time for aussie employers is 3-4 weeks after job interview. Sana din mag positive na rin apply ko dito sa Perth airport as ground air crew support. Good luck sa lahat ng job seekers.

Dito sa australia pag gsto ka gsto ka, d na patatagalin. For example ako 3 days lng process from interview to job offer, same sa mga naging kaibigan namin dito, interview naun hapon my tawag agad kinabukasan job offer. @jedh_g

@hennessy good for you mate magaling ka. In my job industry, by batch kasi sa aviation ang job hiring ng applicants. Very prompt naman ang mga employers in informing you of their cycle time of qualifying/screening process kasi mahigpit ang safety compliance sa eroplano.

Hindi sa galing. Nsa timing ng Diyos kabayan. 3mos ako bago nakahanap ng work. Lahat inaplyan ko pti odd jobs wala pa din nun. Gang sa dumating tong work ko naun. @jedh_g

@jmban33 kapatid ok naman. Heto mag 2 weeks na ako dito sa Perth. So far Australia had a pleasant welcome to me. I'm staying now with a high school friend in a beautiful suburb, a private estate. Still finding a job. I applied in an airport which is 30 minutes away from here. Excited for my family to arrive in the next few weeks. Musta na rin?
