@Megger , @AspireAU21 Its in riverwood.. there's no separate car garage, but there's a dedicated single car space for us. Yung train fare nakalimutan ko na, once palang kasi kami nagpunta dun, which was during the inspection. Will update once we move there 🙂

@engineer20 hindi sya granny flat.. isang unit sya within a 3 or 4 storey residential bldg. Im not sure kung ano tawag dun dito 🙂

@elleb1 yung AU bank statements ang ipinasa namin. Pero i guess pwede din naman ang overseas bank as proof of fund. Sa domain.com at realestate.com kami naghanap. Pag nagbbrowse ka ng units nakalagay na dun yung inspection dates. You can just "show up" during the advertised dates to inspect the units. Pag di mo ito naabutan or may conflict, you can ask the agent kung kelan ang next na inspection para you can schedule accordingly. Google maps lang ginamit namin to locate the apartments 🙂

@elleb1 kami we had an accumulated 9 weeks modern house unit flat rent (at 300 per week lang, sa inyo mas expensive I guess) pero ang hirap pa rin kasi no full time work pa rin puro palabas ang pera. Sa furnitures, nasa 1,300 na agad pero furnished na house rent namin pagdating. Yun ibang gamit ng bata sa school kahapon lang namin nakuha from a friend here in Perth, they included our things in their baggages lang mas practical (mas expensive pag shipped nasa 9k pesos sa atin thru philpost). Kaya, I suggest mag TESDA kayo dyan kasi very useful ang trady skills kesa profession natin dito. Kasi, it will take some time talaga in months before we could get what our profession here full time.

@greatsoul parking fees applies in Perth CBD area only. Usually per hour rate around 6.40 AUD city limits. Meron din along street kurbs nasa 3.40 ang rate per hour. Kaya i-bubudget nyo time nyo when you have an official business like taking the kids to their doctors. Kasi iba iba rin ang rates pero mahal sa covered parkings or elevated type pero mas safe. Pero dito sa suburb namin libre mga parking kaya we had chosen here at Ellenbrook kesa sa city area. Lahat kasi don may metro, may bayad.

Hahaha...walang toll fees dito. Go anywhere without the hassle of traffic - appplies here in Perth, check other states to be sure

@jedh_g oo nga mas mahal sa Sydney yung rent. Hoping nlang kami mkahanap agad ng work kc malaki laking pera din yung kelangan namin ma ready. Wala kc kami sa Pinas din so hindi kami maka TESDA, sana kahit casual jobs me makuha. God bless sayo and to your family! Keep us updated 🙂

@elleb1 consider also finding a private medical cover as ambulance should be considered kasi napakamahal pala pag sinundo ka without a coverage, aabot sa 800 AUD if wala ka. Bawal kasi dito sa AU na isakay ang patient sa taxi or if private vehicle naman, 'di ka pwede i-derecho sa ward pag sa car nyo lang ikaw or kids mo nakasakay going to the hospital. Just sharing.
