@SAP_Melaka Sa Victoria, nagstart yung counting ng validity from your first initial entry to Au following the grant pag sa overseas ka nagrant ng PR. Pag andito ka sa Au ng magrant ang PR, magstart ang validity sa date of your grant. 🙂

@jedh_g Aahh, 2 ang assessor niyo? Inexplain ba kung bakit ka nafail? Yung sa akin naman, incomplete yung sheet pero inexplain kung bakit fail. Oo nga eh surprise na lang kung sino makuha mong assessor. I think somewhat advantageous nga kung may kasama kang instructor from reputable driving schools lalo na pag alam nilang maayos ang turo.

@Abby_ Ang isa pang option is letter from consulate dito sa Australia na may letterhead din nila confirming from LTO that you have a valid license in the Phils. The letter should also include the status, type of license, validity and restrictions if there are any.

Hello, ask ko lang po about sa driver's license. Pag po may PH drivers license ako pwede na ako magdrive for 3 months agad? wala na po ba ako kailngan kunin na permit? Thanks in advance!

@AspireAU21 Hi, Pwede ka ng makapagdrive for few months. Basta dalhin mo lang lagi yung license mo.

@Cassey 1st assessor American guy - 1st take then 2nd assessor Aussie guy. One assessor per take ako and to sum up nakaka dalawa take na ko. I shall make my revenge on my 3rd haha!

Explained naman pero better yun American mag explain plus much clear ang instructions nya. Unlike dun sa Aussie unacceptable talaga paliwanag nya as in nagpadaan ako ng pedestrian he took it against me eh nakapass thru na yung mag mom and small son sa roundabout. Sabi go for it pa rin daw. Ako Naman courteous and safety first.

@Abby_ Nagdadrive ka na ba rito? May PDF pala ako kung pano sila magassess dito sa Vic kung gusto mo ng copy. Avoid doing 2 critical errors/immediate termination error kasi pababalikin ka kaagad sa Vicroads Center at hindi na tatapusin yung test.

@jedh_g Ahh i see. Just charge it to experience. Tinanong ko rin yan sa instructor ko before, ang sabi sa akin, pag wala sila sa tamang tawiran at hindi pa sila nakakatawid at nasa may footpath/sidewalk/shoulder of the road, wag mong pagbigyan pero pag nakababa na sila at nakastart ng magcross sa road then give way. Delikado yung pagtawid nila lalo na sa roundabout pa,hehe With regards to your post on roundabout, always give way to the vehicles on your right and to those who are already in the roundabout.

Pag shared zone naman, always give way to pedestrians. 🙂

@engineer20 this is true. My PR visa was released August 2016 (I arrived in WA October 2016). I was advised by DOT during my application of photo card that I can still use my Philippine driving license until November 2016. Now, after I passed my sit-in theory test, I now got my Learner's Permit only. Need to still pass the practical driving test to finally acquire my full driver's license.

@jedh_g salamat sa tips mo 😉 ako may driving instructor ako kase double stress ko pag husband ko ang nagtuturo..hahaha...mabuti na rin may instructor kase may breaks din sa side niya...safer yung feeling..lalo na first timers like me 😉 so far nakapag 4 hours na din ako...may kamahalan din kase 60/hr..waaaaaaaaaaa..

@Nat yea pero I'm keeping both ends meet para makapagpa book ulit on my next practical driving test. Medyo mahal din, nasa 80 AUD. Paghandaan ko muna ulit. All the best. Safe drive lang sis. Ingat

@chehrd hahaha akala ko at first depende sa hubby..pareho lang talaga pala..double stress pa kase nasa likod anak namin...kami lang kaseng tatlo dito...d namin maiwan kung saan..hehe...so nag instructor ako..pag confident na pwede na si hubby...haha
