@kikay ah so ano po ba un, papaaccess lang kayo sa 189 at 190? tapos kung sino may invite, iyon ang ilolodge nyo visa at babayaran? hahaha sory nalito kasi ko. kala ko binayarang nyo pareho. like dalawa visa type apply nyo

@MayoMay Same lang halos yung 189 and 190, it will give you Permanent Residency status sa Australia. It's just that yung 190, you have to stay dun sa state na nagnominate for 2 years before you can transfer to another state.

Yung application for both 189 and 190 visa types usually sa EOI stage lang para increase yung chance na mainvite ng DIBP. Once nainvite ka na, you can opt to lodge and pay na for your visa. Hmm, i think you can only be approved under one visa type.

Hi guys, has anyone received an email from immi? We just got an email with regards to the timeframe of visa applications for 2015-2016...It's quite confusing though because it stated in the email that it pertains to 190 visa which we didn't apply.. So, i was assuming that it's a generic email that is sent to all... @jedh_g @facelesshero @kikay @ninyeh @dddrew @marcpbelisario @tsarli59

@MayoMay If wala kang dependents now (or won't declare one), pwede naman mag proceed na solo application. In the event na gusto mo sila mag-migrate in the future, they have different options. For your siblings, pwede sila skilled migration, student or sponsored. Pag parents naman, sponsored lang ata though hindi ko sure ang impact if hindi mo sila na-declare as non-migrating dependents from the start. Hindi lang ako familiar sa family stream visa pero mahirap/matagal daw ang process.

@Cassey hi no we haven't the only time we received an email from them was when we replied to the CO regarding our documents that she requested.

@Cassey we cant tell kung may same email kami dahil thru agent namin ang correspondence ng co. Ifollow up din namin si agent by next week kung wala pa din result this week. Ano yung sabi sa email? 🙂

@Cassey I think yan yung delay mails about visa 190 grant from the other forum. they will continue to process but grants will be given come July when the new fiscal yr starts. am i right?

@thisisme1 ITR = Income Tax Return. Binibigay yon ng company diba? Sa'min kasi every start of the year sinesend via email.

It stated in the email that the migration program planning levels for the skilled nominated category (190) now has limited number of places left which means that processing times will be longer and once the remaining places are used, they cannot grant further visas during this program year. They encourage all applicants to check the department's website for any updates or changes that may affect everyone.

I don't want to dishearten anyone but what I would suggest is for you to go through your application once more and make sure that you've attached all the anticipated documents so that if the CO gets allocated you'd have the chance for a DG. I have a friend who lodged for a 190 visa this April and he was contacted by the CO which means na umuusad pa naman ang pila kaya while you have the chance, check your documents again.

Tama ka sir @AspireAU21 may delay pero may limited places pa naman for this programme year kaya may chance pa rin. Kung mamemeet na yung number of grants this year, sa fiscal year na sila magstart uli ng grants. Nagpost ka na ata about this before, tama ba?

@marcpbelisario @inhinyero_sg @facelesshero Thank you sa reply. Nagtaka lang ako bakit kami napadalhan ng email.. Eto antay kami ng reply from them. Tinanong ko kung affected din ang processing times for 189. I think nacaught up tayo sa transition period.

I've just called immi, meron daw silang tinatawag na caretaker period because it's election and maraming kailangang ifinalize so just expect delays with the visa processing.

@Cassey could you please share your immi message you received? I haven't receive anything yet neither from agent and even CO as well, By the way I'm into visa 189 pathway.

@Cassey ganun pray nalang natin. Everything should be alright. Ano ang naka lagay sa status ng immi account niyo? Pansin ko nag change sa amin to assessment in progress.

@marcpbelisario We just need to be more patient plus more prayers,hehe The email was mistakenly sent to us that's what the immi agent told us earlier. Once na naprovide na yung documents automatically na magchange yung status into assessment in progress. 🙂 Anyway mid of June naman na so hopefully by July back to normal na uli at makakeep up sila with the backlogs. 🙂
