Hi Guys,

Who are Industrial Engineers here?

I am an IE who is currently based here in Singapore. Just got my VISA 189 and is thinking to make the big move next year.

Share naman po kayo about these:

1) What is your job in OZ? We're you able to land an IE job?

2) How long did it take you to find a job? We're you in Au or outside Au when you got hired for it?

3) How is the adjustment period in the workplace? Compared to working as an IE outside Au?

4) How's the pay for IEs in Au?

I'll be making my big move by next year pa, for now e stay muna ako dito SG at mag ipon ng pang buffer sa Au hehe

@fromSingaporeToAu Thank you! curious din ako malaman ang experiences ng iba. So far nagtry ako apply online sa seek.com.au and unfortunately puro rejections hahaha hope i'll have better luck at applying pagdating ko dun with an Oz ad and number na 🙂

@fi0na03 im looking at melbourne and sydney... pero kung saan muna may job opportunity, don na lang muna siguro... actually gusto ko sana mag online app muna while andito sa SG and hopefully makahanap kahit maliit ang chance... ayoko irisk na magpunta agad sa Au tapos mabakante for several months.. pero kung di talaga makakahanap online then no choice but to go to melbourne muna siguro.

@fromSingaporeToAu yes dapat talaga paghandaan ang big move. malay mo may mahanap ka online. etong si @jkk32w IE din na SG based sa ngayon. marami tayo dito, busy lang cguro ang iba 🙂

@fi0na03 @fromSingaporeToAu magandang araw po. alam ko po para sa AU po tong forum na to pero nakita ko rin po na sa SG po kayo based hehehe baka po meron din kayo masuggest na position po for engineers in SG. Sa totoo lang po, open po ako to any opportunity, AU man po or SG kasi kailangan po talaga kumayod abroad. Maraming salamat po! Thank you in advance

hello guys! newbie here. Me and my husband are both IE and just received our visa last week. Kamusta na? May nakuha na ba kayo work sa Aussie? Dito rin kami SG and naghahanap hanap nadin ng work before moving to Aussie. 🙂

Hi.. First time to comment po..ive been following this forum for a month now.. May i ask po what is CDR for ie? I.e po husband ko but wla po syang experince.we want to try our luck sana sa aus. Mostly po ba na ggrabt lng ng visa is yung may mga experience? Thank you po..

@fromSingaporeToAu: kumusta ang Singapore? It's been a long time din na hindi ko navisit ang site na ito sorbing busy na. I'm an IE as well, so far mas prefer talaga nila ang nandito na para mainterview agad. Though wala pa naman akong work, may one month na rin akong naghahanap pure rejections din pero sabi nag try and try. Hindi naman tayo pababayaan ni Lord. May three interviews na din ako pero mas may qualified daw. hehehe. so pasa lang ako ng pasa. Good luck sa job hunting mo and if ever sa Melbourne ka pupunta let me know (PM much better) malay mo I can help you in looking for a house na matutuluyan.
