I am Jyothi from Hyderabad, India. I am planning to apply for Australia PR(189/190) and gathering all the required documents.
Now I am struck with a confusion. Need your assistance.
I have 6 years of experience in an IT Company in Hyderabad India. I have been performing the roles and responsibilities of Software Tester throughout these 6 years in various projects. In general the Designation given in our company for all the IT employees is "Systems Analyst"in the Offer Letter, Hike letters and Experience Letter. Even though there are different technologies and roles performing in organisation like Developer, Tester, Maintenance etc, in common everybody has "System Analyst" in company letters.
So my question is as my working roles and responsibilities are of Software Tester which Come under "261314 - Software Tester", but the designation given in Company letters is Systems Analyst which come under "261112 - Systems Analysts", Would I face any rejection in Skill assessment when I apply for ACS as my Roles and responsibilities are Software Tester and my Company Designation is Systems Analyst.
I have observed that many IT organizations have the similar methods where the designations given to employee generally doesn't match with Roles and responsibilities he is performing in the company.
Please let me know how do you assess these applications.
