Hi there! post ako ulit since we are applying for tv for my mother-in-law. My parents tv was approved last june 13 for 1 yr multiple visa with 3 mos per visit. Now for my MIL apply naman kami for 6 mos visit to help take care of our son. Question lang this time around kasi medyo iba yung case ng MIL ko:

1) my MIL doesnt have a bank acct and or land titles and she's retired for quite some time, sufficient na ba yung invitation letter namin (pinaJP pa namin to be sure) stating na her visits are temporary and sagot namin lahat?

2) malaki ba chance na magmedical sya since we requested for 6 mos? kelan po lalabas yung request for medicals after lodging the visa?

Online ka ba naglodged? Same day tayo naglodged. For my parents naman yun saken. Sana sa Monday may result na. 🙂

Hi sis nanay ko walang pinakitang bank account o land title.

Invitation letter nga na ni submit walang signature ng JP .approved naman Multiple TV at first time lang mag apply nanay ko.

May medical talaga pag more than 3 mos ang ang request nyo.

May medical din kahit less than 3 mos pag may history ng lung infection or may ibang sakit

After ng medical hindi sila mag update sa result unless may problema at need ng more tests ..

@blessedvic Hi sis, I got it na today. Multiple entry 1 year hihi. Immigration officer nalang sa NAIA ang kailangan malusotan! Congrats satin and good luck sa lahat na nag iintay pa.

Hello sis. Re medical pag online application may part doon na get health or health declaration yata. .oops.forgot ko ano nakasulat. Basta pag click mo yung part na yun may questionnaires doon na need sagutan. Pero dapat yata paid na muna application bago ka makapunta sa part na yan same with the attachment of docs.

Once ma submit mo app mag email agad sila ng para sa medical ..

I need suggestion and inputs for those who apply for tourist VISA for parents/brother/sister for more than 3 months (require medical).

Process followed applying online using immi account.

Create Immi Account. applied my parens and sister using my account and make myself the point of contact.
Visa application submitted online
Pay the fee
Received immi acknowledgement of visa application via email and the status changed to "Application received" on the immi account
Next step shows to attached documents under " Supporting Documents"
took me a lot of time to figure out which is the right category the evidence should belong cause some category refers to same evidence/document.
I try to follow the recommended evidence but not all applies so skip that I think is not applicable and try to find a category that would is applicable.
I was having a hard time trying to add my personal evidence
Attached all evidences per category (as much as I could)
It is a bit confusing attaching the evidence one at a time as you need to identify the correct category
can only attached 30 docs. sO i need to merge document as much as possible specially the passport pages as proof of travels overseas.
Next step is health exam (since I am applying more than 3 months for my parents and sister)
I read on the website that if I already submitted the VISA application, you should wait for the case officer instruction on when to get the medical exam done as if I try to take the medical exam by myself, it may cause confusion and delay (as per website). It also states that the case officer will provide the health ID (HAP ID) that is required to book for medicla examination.

BUT,

When I look at the online immi account visa application after attaching the evidences...., I can see the link for eMedical under Health requirements and when I click the link it shows the HAP ID and the link to print the referral letter.

Did you wait for case officer response and their instruction for the medical exam or I can now proceed in scheduling my parents/sister medical exam since I can see the HAP ID and can print the referral letter which is the requirements to schedule for medical exam ?

Is the status of the application change once Case officer is assigned?

At the moment, the status is "Application Recieved".

@atchino Most people don't wait for it as that could take a long time, since you have the information needed to get them started on getting the med exam then the sooner they get it the better.

As for the application status, mine didn't change from,"Application received" to "Finalized" until after I got the visa grant.

@yameowguchi How much is the medical exam and what are the checks done during the medical exam ?

For my parents, I think I will inform my parents to proceed with their medical exam since we know their HAP ID and the instruction to printout the referra lletter form immi account.

My concern is for my sister who has the possibility of getting only 3 months (does not require medical) or getting denied. I try to apply for 4-5 months which I mention in the important dates/celebration that she needs to attend but still ther is a high probability she might get denied or only given max of 3 months since she is currently unemployed.

Masayang ung medical fee kung ma deny yng application or if only given 3 months stay.

Since I apply for up to 6 months duration. the Health check came out as automatic requirement in the online immi account.

@atchino I don't really know, wasn't asked. I opted for a 3 month and got a multiple entry for a year. As for the medical exams, from what I know it tells you right away what you'd need. Usually it's just a chest x-ray. Edit: I think I read somewhere too that the HAP ID tells the clinic what exam you'd need based on your answers on the questionnaire

I'm actually unemployed too & I just got my boyfriend to sponsor me. So really it's more what you say on the cover letter & invitation letter cause they have no evidence talaga that she'll come home. I pretty much said I'm jobless because I'm not expected by my family to work pa... sounding like a spoiled rich kid even if you're not is better than getting denied.

I don't see any questionnaires when I click on "Health requirements" inside that page is a link to that open eMedical page which includes the applicants details and HAP ID. thn it has another link to print the Referral letter.
