Kailangan pa b ng test sa LTA? Or pwedeng diretcho na conversion? Thanks po</blockquote>
if you had ur license before you relocated to SG then you need to take BTT exam only..online exam lng cya 50 items, pag pasado pwede mu na ipaconvert.
</blockquote>
Clarification po: So if wala pa talaga PH license, the best way & most economical is dito na sa SG mag-enrol & kukuha ng license? Or advisable na doon muna kukuha sa Pinas then convertion nalang dito sa SG at no cost na?
</blockquote>
@IslanderndCity getting an SG license is not that easy and cheap. So kung totally wala ka pang license might as well get it in OZ directly.
my two cents.
</blockquote>
I agree. And if you do not have driving experience in the PH or SG. Better to learn from scratch in AU. </blockquote>
So as a summary:
Wala na akong advantage na ma-gain if kukuha pa ako ng Ph DL? Better directly get Au DL nalang po soon?</blockquote>
Meron pa rin if you want to drive immidiately in AU upon arrival. Make sure to get an International Driver's License from AAP. However, if you apply for learner's permit, di mo na pwede gamitin any country's DL inside AU. (Queensland Rule).</blockquote>
Yes there's a big chance po to drive immediately in Au upon arrival. So further summary po:
A. Get Ph DL in order to get Internat'l DL from AAP in SG
B. Get Au DL directly from Au nalang if hindi naman magdrive immediately in Au after arrival
C. I can do both A & B
Tama po? Thanks so much so replies nyo po. Very helpful...</blockquote>
Hi,
- AAP po is only issued from the Philippines. Pero pwede ka apply online tapos may proxy ka sa Pinas. You can use this in AU for 1 year (with full driving rights). You can use this AAP-DL to get a probational license in AU. But once you apply for the probational license, hindi mo magamit yung International AAP DL mo. Meaning, wala ka na full driver's rights-limited ka na sa rights ng probational license.
Ang catch is, may states yata na you will need to "convert" within 3 months of arrival (this I am sure which states).
You cannot do both. Kasi nga, yung AAP-DL mo will not be honored once you applied for a learner's or probational License.
