Well technically dude, may point naman yung HR namin na i-ask akong icancel yung PEP ko since alam nya na I am leaving Singapore permanently.
"If you wish to leave Singapore permanently, you must ensure that your work pass (and any other passes attached to your pass) are cancelled."
Ang gusto ko lang malaman eh kung merong mga PEP holders dito na hindi nagsurrender ng pass nila. Since ang PEP nga ay hindi under ng company, nasa pass holder ang lahat ng responsibilities para iinform ang MOM sa mga changes sa circumstances nila (eg. End sa employment, contact informations/ address, annual salary declaration).
And fyi lang dude, mala-artistahin ang beauty ng HR manager namin dito sa SG, just like any other HR namin sa ibang region.

Yup may point nga sya but nonetheless it is going beyond what is required from them. as mentioned tge pass is not connected to the firm.
if may rule na surrender when you leave the country, it will be your prerogative to do that. ๐
ako I did not surrender my EP... HR did not require it, they just cancel it when I left.
