I have another question, you mentioned you went back to the Philippines while your papers where processed. Can you tell me how did you manage to get your PCC when you were in the Philippines?

Hi guys, earlier today I submitted an appeal for certification of no criminal records sa Singapore Police in Cantonment. Basically as most of you know, SG Police does not give out PCC to non-Singapore and non PRs (?) - basically ang kailangan is an endorsement from case officer.

As we are leaving Singapore permanently in December, we are afraid baka ma delay ang processing ng PCC namin. So, we submitted this appeal (email SPF or myself for a copy) form together with some supporting docs like acknowledgement letter of our visa application, EP and passport.

I will get the feedback if this request will be granted in 10 days... Hopefully it should all be good! 🙂

@hotshot - This was planned before na hanggang 2012 lang kami... 🙂 Way before we decided to try applying for Oz.

when the visa grant comes, di naman kami kaagad aalis for Oz - may planned vacation pa kami until Easter Weekend coming out from Pinas.

In God's grace, cguro mga early April... 🙂

I know someone who has this 4 year itch din; batchmate ko sa visa invitation (1st Oct), si @Cleon and si @ricshei, who is about to start in his visa processing adventure... 🙂

SG is good but sooner or later, you may want to go elsewhere. Whether it be back to Pinas or some other country depends on ones preference... 🙂

Nasa Oz ka na ba? If not when are you flying and which particular location?

Ah no @mandand - pumunta ako kanina personally to submit my appeal and there was a short question and answer from the personnel there as to why I am asking for this.

Ang sabi ko was, natatakot ako that it may be to late to wait for the CO endorsement for the PCC as we are not entirely sure when they will communicate to us. Eh, i mentioned na rin na aalis na kami permanently sa island by December...

I hope papayag naman sila on this request, mabuti na rin at least wala na iisipin pa.

wala pa...nasa sg pa din kami ng wife ko. we'll be going to oz sa january. medyo malapit na din. hehe! sa NSW ang destination namin kasi state-sponsored ang visa namin. pero kahit hindi state-sponsored, dun talaga namin gusto sa sydney. kayo ba?

Kami, eheheh... we don't think much about that kasi baka ma-jinx but the reason why we decided to pursue this application to Oz was because of a trip to Melbourne last June. 🙂

sayang, kung alam ko lang na pwde pala ganito procedure nasimulan ko na. 1 more week to go sakin bago lumabas clearance.
