Hello SG members, please give me some idea to where i can look for accomodation which is pang pinoy budget and comfy as pinoy lifestyle lang. family of 5 all adult for a 4 nights stay to see singapore, like universal studio etc. Thanks po sa lahat.

puwede din naman sa mga budget hotels chains like Hotel 81 and Fragrance Hotels (book through the hotel website). Though fair warning, some of these are establishments are used for "short time" escapades, especially in the Geylang area.

For all those who are PR na dito sa Singapore, required pa ba for us na kumuha ng NBI? Or SG coc lang ang kailangan?

@audreamer05 if 10 years kana po dito nagsstay sa SG I think no need na kumuha ng NBI. Otherwise, need mo po kumuha 🙂

Tanung ko po sana, any suggestion about getting a drivers licence? kukuha ako sa Pinas then convert to Sg License then to Au. or dito na ako sa SG kumuha then convert nalang sa Au License., sabi kasi mas madali kung PH-SG kasi theory exam nlang gagawin. at saka medyo mahal kasi dito SG kumuha.. salamat po sa input! Godbless

Well, mas madali, mas tipid and probably mas mabilis if you go PH-SG-AU route, instead of SG-AU or AU lang. Having said that, i'm not sure if may requirement ba ang SG about how long ka ng nagda-drive before ka i-allow for PH-SG DL conversion. I just know that they will be looking for the date when your PH DL was first issued. You may have to call them up to clarify.

ang alam ko po is required ang police clearance from every country that you have lived for a year or so.

makakakuha ka lang po ng SG license if you already have a PH driver's license before pa ung naging move mo sa SG as evidenced by your entry stamp sa passport. kung ngaun ka pa lang kukuha ng PH license, inde po nila tatanggapin un for conversion.

ask ko lang pag nakareceive ka na ba ng ITA magbabayad na ng visa fee or magbabayad ka lang pag naaprove na? also yung fee ba eh per person? Lima kasi kami in the family.

Tanong ko lang po sana kung madali po ba mkapag work jan sa SG? May possibily pa po ba ng direct hire sa SG? IT Developer po ako, ang plano ko po ipon muna ako SG tpos after ilang years tatalon ng AU.

I dont want to discourage you or anything but its a bit hard right now. I've been here for more than 10 years i can tell you from experience right now its by luck compare 10 years ago na mag tourist ka lang dito and by next week me work ka na.

@charsiewPao pag may ITA need mo magbayad within 60 days..per person ang payment.. 3600 main applicant..1800 dependent spouse tpos 900 per dependent child..not sure kng yan pa din current fees

@Supersaiyan naku sg is not the same as before.. swertihan nlng tlga kng makakuha ka ng work while in sg as tourist..2 yrs plng kme sa sg we decided to migrate to AU.. alang job security any moment pde ka umuwi..kng may enough yrs of experience ka and enough funds for application to Au, diretso Au ka na..dmeng current changes ng Au govt sa migration..d mo masabi in few yrs time pahrapan na din mag migrate dto

hello sir @Supersaiyan , mahirap pero kaya naman.. 🙂 yung housemate kong IT nakahanap naman ng job after a month here sa SG. ang mahirap (at matagal) ngayon is yung work pass application.. if you're planning, just be ready to accept other IT roles which are not your current now..

@Supersaiyan siguro depende sa platform na hawak mo at experience. Ngayon madami opening for Mobile dev (siguro un nakikita ko kase yun ung field ko). Try mo stackoverflow jobs madami nagooffer relocation like (Agoda, Viki, Property guru, etc.)

@joshx thanks din sa pagsagot, parang mdami ngayon na .net dev, more on web at standalone apps yung experience ko kaya siguro mdaming ka kompetensya, try ko yang mga links na sinabi mo bro at thanks din. sa jobsdb kasi puro not suitable lagi yung status ng job applications ko. anyway GOD bless sa mga applications naten, target ko din mag AU kaya lang kulang pa budget ko sa ngayon
