@gerrymontano - you can apply online sa NAB; we did this already and they were very efficient. one day lang and meron ka na account opening email.

you cannot access yet your account though as you need to present yourself and your identification to a branch once you are already in Australia. This part of their KYC and AMLA requirements.

To add something; ang PR sa SG hindi na rin gaano kaganda ang benefits. There is already a very clear distinction between citizens and PRs. Unlike in Australia wherein parang pantay lahat (correct me if I am wrong on this).

I agree with you. Rejected ako ng 3 times dito sa sg. Pero blessing in disguise pla. Ngyon d n maganda benefits pr dito. Rereklamo nga housemate nmin kse tinaasan pa tuition anak nya.

we will be using the 1Q of 2013 to sort out stuffs and spend time with our families.
