Hello, nag-enroll ako sa CDC ng Basic Theory Course (Foreign Licence Conversion) nila.
Mahal pero ayaw ko na kasing maghintay ng counter appointment. Pag sinilip mo yung eAppointments ni CDC, wala until February, though I think sinasadya nila 'to para mapamahal ka (see Reddit comment below). Meron pa yan sa site nila na No Walk-ins for Counter Services. By Appointment only. 🙄 If hindi abala sayo mag-walk-in, try mo na din.
The schools never put it on the website because they want you to sign up for the expensive course. It's the same reason why private account signups aren't available online. You can't enrol online -- you have to go to the school itself.
First step, register for a counter appointment at the driving school (I believe all schools don't entertain walk-ins -- must have an appointment).
Next, tell the counter staff that you want to enrol for BTT for the purpose of foreign license conversion. Don't let them upsell you the theory course -- insist that you want to self-study. They're obliged to offer you only BTT if you insist.
After you manage to push away their upsell, book your BTT, then self-study using the BTT notes and question bank on TP website.
Once passed BTT, follow TP protocol for foreign license conversion. - Source
Need to wait for 3 days pala after passing BTT before being able to submit a conversion kay Traffic Police. Kala ko kasi pwedeng BTT in the morning then derecho na sa Traffic Police HQ since malapit lang sa CDC. Hehe
