Hi, ask ko lang po, na-expose po ako ng TB, 2 years ago, pero nag-undergo po ako ng preventive medication for 6mos. Yong mga x-rays ko po ngaun clear naman po lungs ko at wala rin pong scar. Kelangan ko pa po ba ideclare ito since ok naman po lungs ko o di ko nalang po sabihin baka po kasi mas marami pang i-require na tests sa akin.

Ano po ba mas magandang gawin? anyone please share

Are you sure walang scar? Kapag kasi nakita yan sa xray may problema ka, kapag wala talaga at di talaga makikita sa xray ok lang wag mo declare. pero do it at your own risk. Dapat 100% sure kang walang naiwang scar.

question lang po about the medical process...planning to have it done sa St. Luke's BGC (me and my partner)..ano po ba yun dapat namin expect sa process..urine, blood test, x-ray, and ano pa po? how long will it take?

I had annual medical exam (work requirements) for the past 2 years and clear naman ako for work. Yun last test ko lang sabi elevated yun cholesterol ko..pero nag doubt kami since parang lahat kami ganun sabi nun doctor. So nagrequest ako sa doctor ko (may thyroid problem din kase ako) ng mas full check up and the tests came back normal naman except for low vitamin d.

right now alam ko I am hypothyroid (wala na ko thyroid glands kase), low vit d, and possible elevated cholesterol level...medyo worried ako baka marami hingin sken, malaki ba chance na ma deny visa ko due to my medical conditions? thanks in advance po.

Sa wife ko sa St Lukes sa may ermita. Ang test lang is Xray, Physical check-up/ BP and urinalysis and HIV lang.

Denial depende sa medical conditions. Kung talgang magiging burden ung health issues mo sa Australia Health system, in general hindi nman cguro magiging reason for denial.

@fyi_12 yung low Vit D and Cholesterol.. i think manageable naman ata thru Diet and Lifestyle..

Yung Hypothyroid, wala akong idea sa health implications nya.. pero ang General Rule kasi para ma-deny ang visa with regards to Medical is yung kung magiging burden yung condition ng applicant sa Health Services ng Oz or... kung makakaapekto sya sa pagpperform nung applicant sa trabaho in the future once the visa is granted...

It is worthwhile to note kasi na since Skilled "Worker" yung inapplyan natin, expected satin ng Oz govt na, hindi man in "Perfect" health condition ang applicant, eh kayang-kaya nya makipagsabayan sa ibang workers without his health conditions getting in the way...

@vhoythoy, thanks, yap I'm sure na wala 3 times na ako na x-ray after nun. yong latest ko po 6 months ago po, wala din pong scar. Kaso kung sa St. Lukes ako, makikita records ko, un lang. Magpapax-ray nalang ulit ako 2 weeks before the medical.

@czams ano pong balita ditto? mejo same case po kasi tayo.. ung sa kin po kasi 2007. Lahat po ng APE ko since 2008 up to Aug 2015 ay normal chest study (no scar). Ngayon hindi ko po alam kung idedeclare ko ba o hindi. Yesterday I visited a pulmo na me clinic sa St. Luke's pinabasa ko ung Aug 2015 film ko sabi nya normal naman, then natanong nya bakit? me history daw ba ako? naikwento ko, sinabi ko din na wala na ung old films ko at clearance. Nabanggit ko din na me application ako for visa, ang ayo nya is to disclose daw kahit walang scar. Ang mangyayari lang naman daw dun e, mejo iscrutinize nila xray results ko, pero kung wala naman daw makikita, no need for the sputum test na. Pero praning pa rin ako..

@VicThor sir ang worry ko is since dineclare ko e me makita sila. Since sabi ng pulmo kahapon depende rin daw kasi un sa bumabasa. Tapos i pa sputum ako e ang culture result ay 2 months.. haaayy..

I hope someone already got the same case as mine na nakakuha ng visa grant. I have a fatty liver (Elevated kasi ang SGPT ko) and my medical result was on hold until after 3 months of another set of lab test (liver function test). By the way I am only dependent, the rest of my family okay na ang medical.

Question Lang po, kung may findings tapos pinapa additional tests, ano po mangyayari if d umabot dun sa 60 days na deadline? Ma rerefund po ba yung payment ng visa? Yung 3k aud

@furano Hi it is a case to case basis, depende what kind of test is required from you 🙂 like for myself after 3 months pa ako pwede maka pag pa lab test therefore that is 90 days pa. We just advised our case officer and attached the email we received na BUPA/MOC required additional tests and will be available on the date needed by BUPA. No idea re refund. Pero once naman macomplete mp yung requirements for medical the visa application process will resume na.

@furano what do you mean by 60days deadline? i think you have already lodged your visa application right? then wala na po 60days deadline un. the deadline is for those who were recently invited and they have 60days to lodge their application.

if may CO ka na, then they will give you 28days to comply sa hinihingi nilang additional requirement but that can be extended depending on the situation like for us na it would take 2-3months to complete the medical test. Just inform your CO regarding the present situation.
