@glaiza1210 from what i learnt, the security check is carried out by their security agencies to check if you have any security issues, usually criminal or terrorism, from notable agencies like FBI and MI16. usually just to be sure an applicant is not on 'notable' wanted list.

Fresh from the oven I believe:

In October, two invitation rounds will be held for skilled independent and skilled regional provisional visa subclasses covering a total of 2000 persons. These rounds will be on 1 October and 15 October 2012.

The table below lists the maximum number of invitations that will be issued in each round, by visa subclass.

Oct 1:

900 invites for Skilled - Independent (subclass 189)

100 invites forSkilled - Regional Provisional (subclass 489)

Oct 15:

900 invites for Skilled - Independent (subclass 189)

100 invites forSkilled - Regional Provisional (subclass 489)

Results for the 3rd selection round last Sept 15 was also already published! 🙂

@psychoboy Sept 3 ko ni lodge, yung time in between ginamit ko to double check yung data ko. Tapos 12Sept na na-acknowledge. Up to now wala ako na-upload, nagloko evisa ko & advise sakin e wait for CO. Kating-kati n ako mkaalipad sa AU 🙂

Mahaba ba ang data that you need to provide upon lodging? Ahahaha, tama double check and triple check and so on... Mahirap na ma-technical for some slight error lang sa application. 🙂

@psychoboy haha, mahirap na magkamali, ganyang ganyan iniisip ko nun. 17 pages in total, pero karamihan ng info kinuha from EOI so di na ganun ka-tedious. kasama sa application ko family ko so mdyo mahaba-haba ng kaunti sakin siguro. Last part na yung credit card payment, tapos nun ok na 🙂

@psychoboy health reqts, passport page, passport photo, evidence of employment history. i've already uploaded yung passport page sa evisa so not sure why it's still being asked. for employment, inupload ko na rin yung mga ITR, emp contract, emp reference ko pero mukhang payslip ang hinahanap pa nila..which i only have for my current company. wala na ko copy nung sa past employers so i hope they consider kahit yung other proofs na prinovide ko previously lang ang meron.

..hindi po, ECE po ako pero ang experience na sa production/plant engineer..

sabay nalng question sa inyo. Base kasi sa checklist sa 189, for applying, hindi ko nakita ang mga TOR or diploma kailangan ba? mostly personal docs lang. Kokompletohin ko muna kasi docs ko before mag apply visa para ayos para walang sablay. Pwedi po summarize anong docs prepare ko? yung sinabi ni Angela sa taas yun na lahat? Salamat..
