Pwd po ba magtanong kung magkano po estimated budget po to prep for student entry? Pra maka pag prep po. Thank you po ng marami sa sasagot.
Basic budget for living expenses is AUD 21k per year (as of 2019, it might be higher nowadays). That would generally cover rent and utility bills (large amount of expenses goes to rent), food/grocery, transpo (public transpo, iba pa yung gastos sa kotse kung magddrive ka), entertainment/shopping (kung di ka mahilig magshopping, baka makatipid ka). Kung magssightseeing ka or travel locally, you may need to consider that in your living expense budget too.
Another chunk of expense will be your tuition. Studying at TAFE or vocational institutions is cheaper than university. Expect to pay around AUD 12-20k per year, depending on the program. Mostly Diploma or Advanced Diploma lang ang highest qualifications sa VET (although may iilan na may MBA). If gusto mo mag-aral sa university for your master's degree, you need to budget AUD 20-40k per year for tuition fees.
Also you need to consider the costs of applying for a visa. As a student you need OSHC (health insurance) for the duration of the program, and you need to pay this upfront (generally AUD 1k per year kung single cover lang, mas mahal kung may dependents ka). You need the OSHC in order to apply for student visa. Then there's the student visa fee of AUD 630. You also need to do your medical/health exam, English proficiency exam, and costs of getting required documentation (transcript, diploma, etc). In short, marami ding associated expenses just to apply for a visa. Sometimes there's also an application fee for VET/uni, but you may be able to avoid that cost by going through a legit education agent like IDP.
