@Gabrielle28 There is no definite timeline. It really depends on your CO. Some others have CO contact as early as 2 days, some others up to 2 months. So mas mabuti siguro na frontloaded na lahat ng docs even before ma-assign ng CO so more chances of Direct Grant.

The passport appointment system says earliest sched in Manila is on Dec and Jan. We have to go to Legazpi to get an appointment this month! Kaasar, I've read what's causing this delay is a syndicate that blocks schedules and sell them to those desperate to get a rush passport. Hay.

Does anybody here know a way to get an early passport appointment? Thanks in advance for the answer.

@melvenb for what yung stat dec? For my case, I need the stat dec for my job description. I went to Andrew EE in Adelphi bldg (harap ng Funan mall sa City Hall Mrt). Price is 80 sgd if they draft it and lesser if ikaw magsulat (I forgot how much). Hindi ko pa na try yung sa Australian embassy 🙁

napansin ko pala, kasi nababasa ko dito na ang IED will be based either sa police clearance or sa medical whichever has an earlier expiration...pero sa case ko ang basehan ng IED ko yung lodge date...🙂 hindi naman ako nagrereklamo haha mas ok nga eh...para lang may idea kayo 🙂

@jillpot yes. my IED must be before oct 12 2017. Pero yung medical ko din pala naclear ng October 12 haha napansin ko...so i guess based sya sa medical ko pala pero ayun....dun padin sya nabase kahit na earlier yung expiration ng nbi ko.
