Applying for AU Citizenship soon but Passport about to expire

Hey Guys,

I'm about to apply for my AU citizenship soon however, my PH Passport will be expiring in 6 months. I'm quite aware na it may take a while before I get my citizenship here. Will it be a trouble if my PH passport EXPIRES before I've been granted my citizenship?

What is the problem?

As as I know, passport is not a requisite naman in citizenship application.

The worst that can happen is you will be stuck here in Australia whilst waiting for either a new PH passport or your AU passport after taking the oath of allegiance.

sure why not... just be here for your exams and oath taking...
