After makapag initial entry date, kelan ka na po dapat bumalik na for good sa AUS? In a year po ba?

just to add...wag nyo po sagarin na tipong sa 4th year na kayo babalik ng OZ kasi baka di kayo makalabas ng OZ for a while. kasi may requirements din yung pag-apply ng resident return visa (pag hindi kayo citizen).

tama.. at baka by that time eh iba n nmn ang rules/requirements for RRV...

tapos kakasagad sa validity date eh baka hindi pa maka-entry, e sayang ang pagod hirap at pera for the visa..

by Sept 2017.. for sure kahit hindi pa kayo citizen, eh may strong ties na kayo sa AU. to prove na dyan kayo naka-tira at may work ka.. para ma-approve ang RRV..

May follow up question lang ako. May nabasa ako sa isang forums na dapat 4 years ka na nag stay sa Aus para makakuha ng Citizenship. Paano kung itutuloy ko yung plan ko na by 2014 ako mag punta doon. That means di na ako makakakuha ng Citizenship? 🙁

yup, hindi ka makakakuha ng citizenship...

at paglalabas ka ng AU, kelangan mo muna kumuha ng RRV - Resident Return Visa...

pag wala ka nyan, nde ka na makakabalik ulit sa AU...

pero pede ka naman magstay sa AU kahit expire na PR mo...

tapos antayin mo na lang yung number of years para makakuha ka ng citizenship...

Tapos year 2014 ka lang mag settle sa AU
pag dating ng 2017, expired na ang PR Visa mo, of course pwede ka tumira sa AU, yun nga lang, hindi kana pwede lumabas ng AU dahil hindi ka makakabalik (unless mag apply ka ng RRV)
Hindi ka pa makaka-apply ng citizenship until 2018 (kasi 4yrs residency requirement for citizenship)

so ang pwede mo gawin:

a) wag muna lumabas ng AU from 2017, hanggang maging citizen na sa 2018

b) or mag-apply ng RRV sa 2017, para pwde lumabas/bumalik ng AU.. but be careful sa requirement ng citizenship (ung tungkol sa last 12months before citizenship application date)..

Ah ok po. So, 2014 to 2017 ay 3 years po yun tama po ba. Pero pwede pa ako mag stay ng 1 year pa maski expired na yung residency visa ko which is mag expire by 2017. Tapos by 2018 (4th year anniv) pwede na ako mag apply ng citizenship.

mismo.. kaya po ang nakalagay sa visa label ng PR ay:

- "permitted to remain in Australia indefinitely"..

- "must not arrive after .... (validity date)"

Makisingit lang po ako. Pag nag initial entry ba pwede di na bumalik ng pinas? Mag stay na sa AU from initial entry date. Naisip ko lang kc, medyo magastos sa pamasahe ang balik-balik 😃
