Guys/Gals.. just would like to start a thread to gather all those EOI with 60 pts. I'm hoping na may mga ma invite na this coming October 15...

Base on your timeline, you apply for SS..once granted ka naman for SS automatically you will be invited regardless kahit 60 pointer k lng.

The 60 point score is critical to those wishing for 189.

Kung 60points k with visa190, calculated na dun ang 5 points mo for SS. So if you'll update ur EOI for visa189, (less 5 points for SS) that would make u 55 points only. Passing mark is 60, so it is very impossible to get invited.

my score without the SS is 60 (189).. with the SS it is 65 (190).... based on EOI computation....

@psychoboy, that's the spirit! sana nga mainvite na ang mga 60 pointers... sayang at di ako nagkaroon ng time earlier pa.. Oct 11 and 13 is IELTS exam ko pa lang.. kumusta na kaya si @wynx?.. ala ko 60 pointer sya at exactly July 01 sya naglodge ng EOI.. wala pa ako nabasa na post nya ulit for an update..

Question lang po. First come first serve ba ang policy ng DIAC when picking out candidates or do they do it per occupation? I don't know if anyone knows anything about this, just wondering 🙂

invitation is done based on ranking of scores (regardless of occupation)

they will move to the EOI with lower scores pag naubos na ang mga higher scores at na reached na ang occupation limit...

first come first serve basis will apply, kung tie kayo ng total score...

i think it will be per occupation..then by score... then first come first serve..... kaya rin sila nag implement ng mga ceiling para di ma dominate ng isang occupation code yung visa...

how would you then rank different occupations? ano ang basis?

example: an engr EOI with 70 pts versus an accountant EOI with 70 pts also..

which one is more important?

assuming na hindi pa na reached ang occupational ceiling for both..

kaya ko nasabi na regardless of occupation..

kung ang cut-off ngaun ay 70 pts.. lahat ng 70pts will be invited..

im thinking (although not sure) that in each selection cycle.. may mga allocated the slots sa mga occupation.... so you don't have to compare between the engineer and accountant..

Hi guys.. My husband got an invitation to lodge visa 190 yesterday.. 60 pts lng sya.. 🙂 so baka this week na ang mga 60 pts.. Goodluck satin lahat!

that's good news! congrats! yan ang hinihintay na balita ng 60 pointers dito. hehehe!

pero visa 190 pala kayo so automatic invite basta may SS...marami ata nagaantay na mga visa 189 na 60 pointer. 🙂

@hotshot Yep visa 190.. Mas mabilis dae once may state sponsorship nya.. 🙂 after a day na na approve ang state sponsorship ng husband ko, may invitation agad sya from skill select.. Yung state sponsorship nya naman, less than 2 months na na approve.. Kaya malapit na mga 60 pts 🙂)

@Twinklestar may I ask what state your husband applied for state sponsorship? Ako kasi south australia, ang prob turn around time is 12 weeks 🙁(
