Adding Secondary Applicants (Married/De-Facto/Engaged)

Question lang po. When we lodge our application our status is still engaged but right now we are already married. Is it okay if we just provide our marriage certificate and submit form 1022 for our evidence of relationship or do i still need to provide those requirements stated in the de facto relationship? In our case we are not living together, we dont have joint accounts yet but we have been in relationship for more than 5yrs already. Kindly advise 🙂

if you already have a CO, inform the person immediately and he/she can advise what needs to be done on your end... 🙂

i reckon you would need to provide form 1022 and evidence of your new marriage.

@psychoboy instead of providing the necessary de facto rqrmnts ung marriage cert at form 1022 ung binigay qng form to my CO. kaya lng d pa ngrereply. Hihintayin ko nlng ung feedback nya. Salamat po.

then inform your CO.. congratulations on your wedding and goodluck on the visa..!!

@dakz were on the same case, after ng kasal namin enemail q lg ung case officer q ng form1022. Den after that she asked some documents of my husband. As you are recently married, probably ur case officer will asked your joint statement just to prove how genuine ur relationship is.. Ung iba kasi gnagamit lg ung pgpapaksal pra masama OZ.. Kaya samin eventhough married na kmi hndi sapat na katibayan ang marriage certificate.. Humingi pa rin ng joint statement, kng nkalagay dun ang pictures namin together with captions and date, ung mga chats history.. So much better prepare ka din nito just incase humingi ung case officer m.. Were not living together din, and no joint account sa banko.. Ang proof lg namin is ung mga pics namin ang chat history sa skype, sa txt at sa fb.. Kaya na include ung husband q at na approve visa naming dalawa.

tpos si fiancee ang secondary applicant? then nagpakasal kayo while processing the visa?

@nfronda ngayon ko lng napansin comment mo. Same nga tayo ng circumstances. At tama ka nga hiningan kami ng proof. I provided photos ung mga travels n vacation nmin together ksama na ung mga plane n hotel bookings, tapos ung chat n email logs kahit hindi english yon. Mabuti naman at tinanggap ni co at na visa grant din kami 🙂

@lock_code2004..hindi poh..nung nag apply aq ng visa single ung nilagay q.. den ngkamali aq sa pag estimate ng visa grant q..akala q ksi by december ma approve na ung visa q..kaya nag plan kmi na january ung kasal.. den ung plan q sa knya ay aplyan xa ng spouse visa.. kya kinabahan aq nang malapt na ang kasal namin wla pang balita sa visa q.. Pro nsabi q sa sarili q, c Lord na ang bahala, everything happen 4 a reason.. kaya yan ang nangyari.. pgktpos ng kasal nmin ngka co aq.. den sana at dat tym ma approve na ung visa q.. den nag submit aq ng form1022 which is nsabi ng co na, dahil married kna hndi pa pwdeng ma finalize ung visa m..instead pwde natin ma include ung husband m.. which is really gud pra samin.. kaya ayun, humingi lg ng mga documents sg husband q..ng na complete na, visa grant kaagad.. Which is God is really gud tlaga.. nd na aq gumastos sa spouse visa nya..

@dakz.. Ung sa iyo nga, engaged na status m pag apply m.. sakin nga single ung status q.. kaya nasabi q sa sarili parang swerte ng kasal namin..at nakasama pa xa sa application q.. 🙂 Btw, congrats pala..kylan lg na grant visa m??

The formal stat dec format is only if you are AU , it will be affidavit in most countries..

so if you want, you can create an affidavit, you can use normal paper, isama mo ang magsign sa harap ng lawyer.. and then have it legalized by the lawyer/notary..

Now, each lawyer/notary office has their own format, so ang isa sa mga suggestion dito sa SG daw, eh magdala ka ng usb na meron copy ng statement, ibigay sa lawyer/notary office para sila magcopy paste ng mga statements.. or humingi ka ng format nila..

Tip* - make sure na blue pen ang pang sign nila, para pag scan mo (colored) at submit mo as proof/attachment sa application online, eh makita na original ang signature..</blockquote>

Mga idol,

Nung nagpakasal kayo did you just use the maiden name ni misis niyo? Hindi pa kasi lumalabas yung nso certified copy nung marriage certificate namin kaya di pa malakad ni misis yung pagpalit ng apelyido niya. Ok lang ba ito gamitin sa paglodge? Baka kasi abutin pa ng months at abroad kasi kami nagpakasal kaya matagal pa bago dumating yung report of marriage at matagal din daw yung processing sa nso.

Sa ngayon kasi ang desisyon ko is i-go na with the same information as her current passport. Ang gusto ko na lang malaman is paano aayusin in case magpalit na siya in different stages from invitation to visa approval.

yes, proceed with the application, kahit using her maiden name..

sayang ang panahon..

once dumating na ang new passport, there is a form you can use to change passport details..

fill-up the form 929 and email to your CO..

The following forms are useful for notifying the department of changes in circumstances and

are available on the department's website at www.immi.gov.au/allforms or at any of our offices:

● Form 929 Change of address and/or passport details

● Form 1022 Notification of changes in circumstances

● Form 1023 Notification of incorrect answer(s)

● Form 1193 Communicating by e-mail with the department.

Maraming salamat idol! You are the man. hehe! Ay by the way, any idea naman if for example nakakuha si misis ng visa with her maiden name as in visa approved with IED and stuff and along the way naayos namin yung documents niya for changing the surname to mine. Kelangan pa ba ipabago yun? Anyway it's a long way to go pa naman, just want to know kung may alam kayo na nakaexperience nito. Salamat uli! :-)

@joestrummer - just remember this..

kung anu ang passport na nasa application at na-approved na visa grant, yun dapat ang passport nyo sa pag travel..
kung nagpalit kayo ng passport (new passport, change surname), you need to inform DIAC always, para walang hassle sa travel..

marami po namang countries/nationalities ang hindi nagpapalit ng surname ang mga married female, so walang kaso un... just be sure sa reminder above..
