@jedh_g ganun po ba.. akala ko IELTS lang un may acad at general. Pag nagpabookka daw kasi ng PTE isa lang ang andun, acad lang. Hindi kasi ako nagtake ng PTE sabi lang ng kapatid ko

@ram071312 i mean po panu xa nag decide to go for CDR + RSEA as against standard CDR lng. Anu difference ng dalawa aside sa cost.

@ginpo ah hindi kasi kami sure kung maki credit lahat ung work experience nya kasi iba iba ung job titles, so for peace of mind ng pa RSEA sya. Aun nacredit naman ung 9+ years.

@ram071312 @ginpo IELTS (can be ieither general which is typical or academic which applies for teachers) whereas PTE Academic has one format only.

Note that it does not be a "preference" but take consideration what does your assessment require. LIke in my case as an engineer, I had chosen PTE Academic to catch up visa points.

IELTS - Exam taken intended for Engineers Australia professional assessment

PTE Academic - Exam taken for Visa points accumulation, in my case I need 65 points or above to increase chance of visa invitation

By the way, starting nov 1 2017 accepted na ng Engrs Au ang PTE so no need to take IELTS

Wow good news na pwede na pala PTE for EA. I honestly would say IELTS was, either standard is too much for Engineers, or the scoring was too tight or subjective, I mean I feel like I have to be a writer of some sort to reach 7.0, much more for 8.0, hehehehe.. ang hirap makuha kahit 7.0 lang, palagi nalang 6.5. Anyway this is another topic for discussion..

Just to add lang, PTE already has PTE Professional, I just found out when trying to book for a schedule sa site nila. But don't get confused, PTE academic lang requirement for Immigration.

As far as I know, requirements remain the same. Have a read & post your questions in that thread. In a nutshell, whatever docs you as the main applicant needs to submit, ganun din sa dependent, except na lang skills assessment if you're not claiming points for partner skills, & a cert from the school stating English as medium of education will do in lieu of IELTS. You also need to submit proof of your relationship, that it is a genuine & continuing relationship for at least 1 year. For my application, nag-provide ako ng joint statement from me & my partner, plus stat decs from friends witnessing to our relationship.

Ang tagal nga ng invite. last august 2017 pako nag pasa ng EOI. kelan kaya dadating ang golden email for invite? Konting dasal pa mga ka-2335. :-O
