Bad news from iscah.com once a month na lang invitation every 11th day of the Month starting August 11.

Dami ko n ngastos nka8 times English exam n ako.. Tpos puro bad news p itong c Iscah website regarding s invitations.huhu..

Sobrang hot topic ngayon dito immigration cuts. And i think with the upcoming elections, they will make it much harder for aspirants to get PR.

Sharing my points breakdown:

@doublemint kelan po ba election sa Aus? Personally, pros and cons ang maglalaban sa immigration issue sa Aus. Rising kasi economy nila den, need talaga to fulfill employment need with the rising economy. I dont think the locals and students can refill the void so need parin tau dun. Yun nga lang pahirapan na.

@doublemint hello po. IE din po ako at kayo ang unang IE na nakita kong na nominate ng state, kala ko joke lang un list nila at wala naman akong nakkitang nanominate, hehe. So onshore pala ang type nila. Goodluck po! 🙂

@riseendreev not sure actually pero lahat ng mga kilala kong aussie ay pro-immigration cuts kasi siguro nagmamahal lahat ng bagay dito lalo na Sydney and Melb. Mahal rent, utilities, traffic, etc. So idk, im pretty sure aus gov will not completely stop immigration but will be stricter lang/reduce the intake

@Grifter gulat nga din ako sa invitation kasi my mind was all set na by the time i reached the 75pt mark na next 2 rounds nalang ng 189 na ako maiinvite. And 3 days lang may approval na. May kilala naman ako iba na nainvite ng 190 nsw na IE, 65pter pero sobrang tagal ng approval naunahan ng 189 invite kaya she opted for the latter. Onshore din. Pero this was in Oct 2017.

@doublemint since onshore po kayo, baka pwd makahinge ng inputs nyo? 🙂 kamusta po ang job market ng ie jan? Madami po ba trabaho? And pag walang local experience, need po ba magsimula trabaho as entry level?

@Grifter i would say ok naman ang job market for IEs - supply chain, production analysis, business process analysis, etc. mga friends ko and myself on average 1 month may work na. mas advantageous kung PR holder during interview process kasi preferred nila yun over temporary visa holders.

Regarding local experience, yes preferred ang may local experience and tsambahan lang talaga sa company. I dont think need magstart as entry level, madami variable factors dito - experience, interview skills, communications. I have only been with my current company for a year pero Team Lead Analyst na ako with no prior local experience.

@MLBS yup ang nakikita ko lng n options ko tlga to apply is visa 189- 70 points and 190 -75points since nsa sydney ung relative ko.. Ang tgal ko n ding waiting s application ko more than 2 years n inabot n ako ngpaghihigpit ng AU. Mukhang s current status ko eh mahina p ang laban ko s mga visa n inaaply ko kya itry ko nln ulit mkasuperior s PTE kahit msakit n s bulsa or else itigil ko n itong kalokohan n ito hanggang pangarap nln yn OZ n yn..haha...
