I am accounting grad pero unfortunately hindi pa nakakapasa for CPA board. I got my CAT last year hoping that it would help me achieve my Oz dream. di pala sya recognized. nagstart na ako magpa-assess sa CPAA, waiting for their reply. based sa mga nabasa ko dito sa forum, I think I will have a long journey to my goal.
I need your help lang po, please, anyone. Can I apply for subclass 189 kahit hindi ako CPA dito sa pinas? Please help po.

I think you have a chance to be accredited as an accountant, but yung CPA designation sa Pinas is a big plus. Wala pa naman agreement ang CPAA and PICPA that will discount your CAT. They'll look at your undergrad credentials naman (syllabus, diploma, etc.). Just take the IELTS and give it a try. You might want to try to send them an email for your questions.
