Let's start a new discussion here friends; to all those who are already working in Australia, I ask this question: Do you buy food sa labas or nagbabaon kayo? If you buy food, how much does this usually cost you?
Dito kasi sa Singapore, food is relatively very cheap as compared to your salary... ๐ I think such is not the same in Australia though.

To be practical at mas tipid mag baon ka. Puedeng gumawa ka ng sandwich o kaya magluto ka ng ulam with rice. You can bring also fruits like apple, orange or banana. Australian lagi may dalang fruits part ng meal. May pantry or may kitchen naman in every office. Puede mo i-microwave ang baon mo.
Palagi ako bumibili ng lunch plus bottled water (mt. franklin or pump) it cost from $11 to $15
Pero eto lang month na ito dahil may sasakyan na ako nakakatipid ako umuuwi ako minsan kapag lunch break,10 minutes drive from my office.

11 to 15 per meal? ahahaha... mejo pricey nga, habbang dito sa Singapore, a good meal with drinks can set you back A$5.
15*20 days = A$300; this is already a week's worth of rent more or less. It pays to be practical nga! ๐
