Hi @aikrgn, you need to review atleast 1 month full time for AMC part 1 and then longer for AMC part 2, ideally join a 10 week course then review for atleast 1 month after that before taking it. 🙂

I'm not sure if you can get sponsored by a relative for your visa but you can get sponsored by your employer for a working visa. AMEX is the review centre for AMC in the Philippines. If you are after a review centre in Melbourne for AMC2, try ARIMGSAS. 🙂

Hi, sorry I can't comment on this based on personal experience as I was on a dependent student visa before becoming a permanent resident. You can apply for PR once you obtain your AHPRA general registration.

Hi I'm a recent med graduate about to take the PLE and thinking about my options. In order to take the AMC 1, need ba ng Australian Visa? If for example nka pasa ng AMC 1 tapos mag enroll ng review center sa Australia for AMC 2, anong visa ang need po? Thank you po sa creator ng thread nato!!

Hello! You're welcome! 🙂 no, you don't need an Australian visa to be able to take the AMC 1 exam. You can apply for a visitor or business visa if you are planning to enrol in a review centre in Australia for AMC 2. Hope this helps.

Hi, yes it will be the same pathway. Pass the AMC 1 and 2, then apply for hospital job as JMO and then apply for provisional AHPRA registration once you get the job offer, then complete hospital rotations, apply for general AHPRA registration, then apply to relevant college for specialist training.

Hello! Do you need to gain experience muna here sa Philippines before you can work sa Australia? Or you can apply in any hospitals sa Aus as long as you passed AMC exams even though you do not have enough experience here sa Ph(aside from the internship)? Thanks.

You need to have your IELTS results when you apply for AHPRA registration. Ideally, do it after passing AMC1 because you will be eligible to apply for AHPRA registration after passing it but you need a job offer as well before you can apply for AHPRA registration. I hope this makes sense.

Hi! no, you don't need to gain experience apart from internship to work here. I only completed internship in the Philippines before moving to Australia.

Hi! I’m a newbie here. My boyfriend plans to practice in australia as a doctor. He’s about to take the physician licensure exam. Can I ask if which path will be easier for him to be able to work and be an australian citizen- if he will have his residency here in the philippines then go to australia. Or if he will go there as a general physician? Because I heard from a friend that he knows a doctor who went to australia just right after passing the ph board exam who’s having a hard time applying in a hospital in australia. He has been applying for 2 years already.

Good day po. May I ask when po start ng supervised training in Australia? Plan ko po mag-AMC Pt 1 on Nov 2021, and then March 2022 for AMC Clinical. May matching like USLME po ba yun na may certain period lang in a year? And san po usually nagaapply/hanap ng supervisors/ hospitals? Thank you.

Given the details, is it more preferred to apply for the standard pathway than the specialist pathway? Thank you!

By getting a job offer, can she take Short Term Training under Medical Specialty Pathway, WBA Workplace Based Assessment, PESCI or Competent/Specialist Pathway? She's a citizen living in Perth...
