Hi All. Quick question just to make sure. Mukhang natatagalan ung 189 and 190 for Business Analyst. I am open to submit 489 but when I checked Victoria website, there is a requirement that you must have 5 yrs of experience. Technically I have close to 7 years exp but because I am not a graduate of an ICT course I got "0" for skills assessment from ACS. Note that I understand it needs 6 years exp and RPL to pass for ACS skills assessment which I did.

Question: Can I claim that I have an experience of more than 5 years or should I still follow the ACS assessment which is still "0" for me.

Happy sunday po sa lahat, ask ko lang po how long bago magbigay ng invite yung regional visa specifically visa 489 generally, i applied for EOI last feb22, 55+10@65points anzcode 254415 Reg Nurse ICU. Also sent EOi for southern Inland on same day. Sabi po sa email 6weeks, at this time of the year 6weeks ba talaga hihintayin or more pa, my student visa ends this july na and i wanna stay onshore thru this visa.TIA

@orchyd hi, it depends.sang state ka nagpasa ng 489 state sponsorship? meron sa victoria state sponsorship na thread dito, same situation as you. they emailed ung state migration office telling them na pa-expire na ung student visa nila and i believe some of them got invited. give it a try but no guarantees.

@Au_Vic thanks sa southern inland kasi ako sa nsw nag apply... really may agent ba sila o wala.ask ko ling din sana if may work na sila doon kasi I heard pag may job offer pwede daw ma expedite ang procedure pag patapos na ang visa... thanks so much for the info.

@orchyd not sure if may work na sila, ung isang nsa forum meron ata xang work kya na-expedite pero yung iba wala ata. Is there a specific reason why you need 489 and why NSW? Kc if you can get 190 might as well go for it. you have 55+ 5pts (190) = 60 points unless state has a specific requirement for minimum points. In NSW they probably rank EOIs by points and highest will get invited first. Please note in VIC, for international students, nsa list nila ang nurse for SS and dont see any specific points needed so I assume you need 60 points at least including SS to be eligible.

Hi question lang po for southern inland, ask ko lang if yung employment reference with duty statement, kailangan ba recent? Also po is there a format for it?, pwede pakiexplain kung ano dapat body ng letter, thanks sa makakasagot. @Au_Vic thanks sa sagot mo, kaso late ko na alam na derecho lng pala liveinvictoria yung applicatn for state nom before skillselect, skillselect lang ako nag apply, today lang din ako nag apply sa liveinvictoria... so crossing fingers they will expedite the process... thanks☺️ Preparing also for southern inland as contingency if hindi aabot sa july as per my student visa expires...

@orchyd no worries. in which state are you studying? If you are studying in Victoria they may consider your situation and expedite your application since you are in the state already.

Send livinvictoria an email and ask for timeframes, maybe tell them your situation and say something like you want to live and stay in Vic. No guarantees but who knows.

@orchyd you can also check Tasmania. Nsa list nila for 489 yung occupation mo. Not sure though how quick they process State sponsorship.

Lodge date ko is feb 23-2018, until now walang CO contact.

Na lodge kona lahat docs ko, wala na ako ma isip pang ibang docs i submit 🙂
