its ok naman na maisip mo ung about sa PR kc part yun ng overall process pero I can say that you are on the right track. the fact na nagdecide ka na iexplore ang 489 rather than waiting to get invited sa 189 or 190, I can say that's a good move.
Wit the current situation of migration in Australia, applicants should be strategic and need to be more open-minded in terms of the avenue to be here.
I have been telling to people here sa forum na wag maxado choosy especially with location or where they want to stay etc. Yeah i do understand that most people want to stay in big cities like Sydney or Melbs but reality bites, its not easy to migrate to oz anymore like ages ago.
Marami kc dito sa forum ang fussy na kesho ayaw sa smaller states, regional area, etc, anyway, kanya-kanya naman ng choice. Those people are willing to wait kahit abutin pa sila ng matagal pero sayang kasi yung time at sa kaka-antay pabago ng pabago ang immigration rules at pahirap ng pahirap at mas nagiging less ung chance na makapunta dito. I have seen it all how immigration has changed the rules.
There is nothing wrong with 489, pare-parehas tayo ng food na kakainin, same grocery store tayo mamimili at hangin na lalanghapin natin same at lalo na iisang country lang tayo... Australia regardless kung adelaide ka, tassie, brissy, the gong, etc. :-)
