Hi, just want to ask. Sa professional reference letter for anmac, can a senior staff nurse/ mentor sign it? Or it needs to be the manager? Medyo mahirap mgbigay ung manager eh, like last time for my ahpra, di talaga sya ngbigay. 🙁

@butterflyAngel Hi, sorry to hear that.. i can't understand kung bakit di ka niya binigyan. Is it because she finds it too tedious to do? How about offering her to just sign a reference letter made by you? She can review it and just sign it. Nakalagay kasi sa ANMAC it should be your direct supervisor and ANMAC usually calls them up.

@Cassey i think she is too busy. I don't want to keep on asking her baka mairita.. i offered that option pero sabi nya fraudulent letter daw yan kng gnyan.

@butterflyAngel I don't think it's fraudulent as long as it stays true to what it claims. Besides, it's not like she's not gonna read it before signing it. Anyway, Maybe best to call ANMAC and see what they have to say.

Hi Cassey! I read through the whole thread. Thanks to you and all our kababayans, medyo naliliwanagan na ko. Btw, my husband and I are both nurses. Currently employed sya as renal nurse for 5months. Ako last ko staff nurse for 6 mos 2015 kaso nag-awol ako and then gap since I got pregnant and gave birth. We've been planning about conversion program or bridging program.

Question:

Which of the 2 pathways ang pwde namin maisama agad si baby? Wala din kasi pag iiwanan na relatives since grandparents on both sides are abroad.
Is it advisable na 2 kami magbridging/conversion or one at a time?
For BP, ung experience ba dapat hospital or any setting as long as registered nurse ang job title?
Has anyone tried applying for sponsorship in Darwin,NT after getting registered? Inlaws ko kasi nandon, daddy ni husband Citizen na.

@heyitsjovy Hi,

Any of the 2 pathways pwede niyong maisama baby niyo. With Bridging course, you can either get a Visitor Visa (no work rights plus it may have the "no further stay" condition) or student visa which may ask for a show money. It's a short course around 3mos at the moment.

With conversion course, it's through student visa. Mas matagal nga lang around a year or 2.
You can both study at the same time, it would all depend on your personal circumstances, kung may magaalaga ng baby niyo other than yourselves, finances, etc.
As long as it's an RN role and as long as you can prove about your employment (COE, Payslips,Reference letter, etc) it should be fine.
You can apply for sponsorship as long as you meet the points for migration. 🙂

Re: work experience I'm glad to know kahit di hosp. Sa situation kasi now I can't work night shifts dahil kay baby. Might as well apply sa mga clinics.

I have read about SVP schools na di na need ng show money daw? What's SVP? And for bridging, do we need to pay the full tuition agad?

But first, english test muna ni hubby. Hoping for good results para makahabol sa intake early next year. Thank you so much sa help!

@heyitsjovy Okay ang AECC. Yan din yung agent ni hubby rito sa Au. SVP is streamlined visa processing. Mas mabilis ang processing, yun nga lang there are only certain schools who are eligible for that. I'm not sure kung pwede ang short courses with SVP. With the fee, it depends on which uni you are going to. All the best.

Hi guys. I need ur insights. I applied for student visa for canada last year, denied. Good thing din na denied kasi pinapabalik nla ako mag aral ng hs sa canada. Kahit nurse nako dito sa phils.

Now i am already applying sa australia. I wil take up master in nursing. May employment gap kasi ako 5 years, nag callcenter ako. Meron ba ditong same ng xperience ko? Or has anyone naka take ng msn sa au?

@babie iba ata yun msn na master of science in nursing tsaka yung master of nursing practice. Yun master of nursing practice is mostly for those career shifters. Yun may ibang course na natapos gusto magnursing. Nun naginquire ako sa IDP, yan din pinakuha sakin. May certain unis lang na nagooffer nyan na naglelead to aphra registration kaya check mo maige. Unfortunately for me, sa monash lang ata ung may ganun sa melbourne na recognized ng aphra. Okay sana kaso ang mahal. What I did, nagconsult ako sa aecc, willing naman sila to submit my papers sa uni as bachelor ulit. Maganda sa master of nursing practice kasi kung may dependent ka, pwede sya magwork full time. Yan sabi sakin dati sa IDP. 🙂

@dval hi im sorry oo master of nursing practice pala yon hehe yan din recommendation ng IDP at ng AMS sa akin mag masteral. meron din akong dependent.

@babie complete na ba documents mo? Sinabihan ako sa AMS, obsolete na raw un pinag aralan ko g nursing kasi since 2010 pa.. pero nagtry pa din ako sa iba. Tingin ko mas okay yan master of nursing practice kasi 2 years lang talaga. Sabi ng AMS sakin, pag sa deakin daw ako baka raw 3 years ang ipakuha skain kasi obsolete na un previous study ko. So nagtry ako sa ACU at La Trobe.

@babie outcome nyan Rn div 1 nurse din sa aphra. check mo dun sa course outcome ng school mo. Sa melb sana un target ko kaya lang monash lang un meron ganun na accredited sa aphra. and ang mahal sa monash kaya i tried other options.

@dval yes and mahal. we tried looking into that rin. kasi wala kaming preferred state. okay lang kami kahit saan. meron ding sa perth. pero mas okay tong une. sana lang tanggapin kami hehe. may kamahalan rin. pero go lang tayo ng go. 🙂

@babie jan din dapat ako nun eh sa une. Kaso kasi nasa melb un sponsor ko. Sabi nun taga idp nakausap ko, di raw sya un parang masteral as in masteral na madaming thesis. Kasi more daw un sa MSN. Kaya mo yan. 🙂 Yes, sana matanggap tayo. 🙂 Mejo lately lang ata yan naffer kaya konti pa lang din naka exp.
