hi ma'm @Cassey me experience po aq sa pinas 2yrs RN but that was 2012 pa.. then ngwork n po aq sa SG as EN from 2013 to present. will they recognize kya un?

@Adamritzel Ang ICHC is international criminal history check. Kailangan mong kumuha ng clearance from them, isesend nila diretso sa AHPRA yung result. Kapag kukuha ka nun, meron kang reference number na ilalagay mo sa AHPRA application. Yang picture na anjan, health insurance ang tinatanong.

Hi! as far as I know minimum of 3 mos for the processing of papers. for the BP i think that would depend on the school and state as per AMS, i just asked them recently regarding that.

Hi everyone, my wife graduated BS nursing in the philippines and passed the board exam as well in 2009. However, she didn't practice ever since as she took care of our kids. Now she wants to pursue her nursing degree in Australia. We already have a PR visa with me as the main applicant.

Can anyone advise if she is qualified for the bridging program or she needs to study all over again?

@lizzzie thanks for the reply! Sa melbourne ko po kasi plan and sana ung schools dun ay di maging 6mos next year. As of now kasi ung napagtanungan kong schools (IHNA & Lonsdale) are full already and not yet accepting applicants for next year. Kasi they're waiting for the new IRON program daw

@iamyourangel08 Yes you can, my hubby was working when he did the DUELI.As long as you don’t go over the 20hrs and you have work rights it should be fine.

Hi Ms @Cassey .. thanks po.. plan ko po kasi mgapply ng job while doing DUELI.. kaso may nakapagsabi po na its either 8;30-2;30 or 10;30- 4:30 .. if you dont mind, ano pong work niya dati habang nagdudueli siya? para lang po mag kaidea ako what kind of job ang possible habang ngdudueli.

@iamyourangel08 Sa Aged Care siya ngwowork nung time na yun. Dito naman sa Au, uso ang part time jobs tsaka flexible naman sila sa time. May mga available jobs sa cleaning, retail, sa restaurant as wait staff, etc. Huwag munang mamimili kasi even those who are permanent residents nahihirapang maghanap ng work sa field nila.

@Cassey thank you po.. ask ko lng dn po how is the cost of living sa melbourne po.. kc pingiicpan ko dn muna ng mabuti bfore moving out, kng kaya ko ba pagipunan ung tuition for next sem ng deakin if single aq and pupunta jan.. mblis dn ba mkahanap ng trabaho po? gsto ko na dn mkaalis kc asap dto sa Singapore sana kc havang tumtgal na EN aq dto nwawala na ung chance kung mgRN. khit RN aq sa pinas.

Medyo mahal ang cost of living. Before you move to Au, make sure na may ipon especially na ang laki ng tuition for Deakin tsaka take note na you are only allowed to work 20hrs a week. Dapat may maibayad ka na around $20k+ para di masyadong mabigat yung for the next sem. Makakapagfulltime naman during school break mga 2weeks so use that time wisely. Minimum salary is $18 per hour. Weekly fare is $38. Rent ng room is around $150 a week plus food pa. Ang value meal sa Maccas is around $6... Ang meal sa food court starts at $10.

Yung sa work, as long as hindi ka mapili I’m sure may mga available jobs naman, just prepare yourself mentally and emotionally kasi dito gagawin mo yung work na hindi mo pa nagagawa sa Pinas.

At the end of the day, it’s all worth it, 🙂

@drnc_13 Usually sa mga nakikita ko around 2-3 mos yung waiting time nila. Oo dito na kmi sa Au for 4yrs now, maganda naman ang buhay dito sa Au basta magsipag ka lang, hehe Malaki ang chance ng Nurses na maPR kaya pursue your Au dream.
