@Cassey hi maam ive been following your posts and very been informative regarding the process for ahpra. I have a lot of questions in mind regarding the step by step process and im seeking your help for clarification. Please bare with me. As i understand first thing to do is register on their website

1.Do you need to have all requirements ready when you register?

Do we have to pay a fee when we register if so how much?
Do we have to fill up other forms other than the agos 40?
What do you call the document coming from the prc?

5.do you need to take your english exam first before you register in ahpra?

If my school will be sending it's documents to ahpra does ahpra has one mailing address only?
Is it necessary to include pharmacy in my course description? As said by our registrar at school, also course description necessary from 1st year to 4th year? Because it costs 6k pesos
I only have 6months experience in the hospital and i read i only need 3months of experience? Is this true?

I am currently working here in the uae as an emergency medical technician do i need my coe here as an emt to submit to ahpra? Or my coe as a nurse will do?

Do i have to submit also my training certificates like acls bls iv training and be notarized as well?
Ive read also that you also need a proof that you have been vaccinated is this for ahpra as well, if so what vaccines do i need to have?
How about medical screening do i need clearance from the doctor that im fit to work? Is this also for ahpra?

12.after submitting all requirements needed for the process what's next? If passed the assessment and gave me an approval for BP I'll find a school for that right? What's next after that? I'll apply for visa? Student or tourist?

Im really sorry for bombarding you a lot of questions im still confused on the process it self thank you for answering in advance

Yes, you need to have all the requirements otherwise you can’t register here.

Yes, you need to have an English Test
Can’t remember any docs from school that needs to be sent directly to AHPRA; just make sure to mail it in one AHPRA address.
Course Description is your syllabus
3mos in the last 5yrs prior to your application is needed if you want to study bridging course, Take note that you have to provide proofs for your employment. No need to submit your emt COE, just the Nursing experience. For the PR application, it’s a different story.
No need to provide those training certs as it doesn’t have a weight here in Au
With vaccines, look it up in the Uni websites offering the course.
Medical exams may be required by the employer and not AHPRA
Yes look for school and you can either apply as student or tourist

When is the right time to request the certificate of good standing from prc? Since you told me i have to get all requirements before i can register, or is it processed all at the same time?

@Fireonice Yes, thru bridging. Requirements are on the first page of this thread. You may wanna check the format for the reference letter as well as the format for CV. You won’t need police clearance just yet. You’ll need that on your PR application.

It would really depend.... COGS from PRC usually takes 2weeks, so just go from there. Don’t forget that you need to take an English test as well.

@Fireonice All documents need to be sent through POST and it should be notarized as well. Mas maigi kung sabay sabay mo silang isesend, except of course for the COGS.

@Fireonice Sorry to interrupt sa discussion nyo po. Pero RN din po ba kayo sa UAE? If yes, kakailanganin nyo din po ng HAAD or DHA (Dubai) COGS na maforward nila sa AHPRA just like PRC sa atin. Yung medical mo, including vaccines, gagamitin mo nalang yun hindi sa AHPRA but when you are to take the bridging program na.

@dy3p Thanks for that, actually nawala sa isip ko. Did you work in Middle East before? Do you know anyone who submitted a reference letter not conforming to the format? Apparently, yung ibang companies sa Middle East hindi basta basta nagbibigay ng reference letter.

@Cassey opo, sa UAE din ako galing. Reference letter para sa Anmac po ba? As sila kasi yung may format eh.. kung sa anmac may kakilala ako and hindi tinanggap ng anmac. Kinaelangan nyang magdraft ng sarili nya at ipasign nalang. Mejo slow kasi sila dun and tamad pag special request ng ganyan.

@dy3p actually in not a RN in the uae, im an emergency medical technician here though we have a haad license but @Cassey i think that wouldn't be necessary you think since it's not relevant to nursing?

@Fireonice It is actually. Falls under the ANZSCO code of <a href="http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/abs@.nsf/Product+Lookup/1220.0~First+Edition,+Revision+1~Chapter~UNIT+GROUP+2544+Registered+Nurses">254415 (Critical Care and Emergency)</a>. Stated below is its description.

"Provides nursing care to critically ill patients and patients with unstable health following injury, surgery or during the acute phase of diseases, integrating new technological equipment into care in settings such as high dependency units, intensive care units, emergency departments or <b class="Bold">retrieval services</b>. Registration or licensing is required."

The thing with UAE is licensing for both RN's and EMT's are different. I will get back to you on this. I'll give AHPRA a buzz later on today.

Well, even if its not, the fact that you are registered with HAAD is something that is a part of your registration history. Under Section F #12 Question of the <a href="https://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&ved=0ahUKEwiBtM7UnqjXAhXME5QKHQjtBQsQFggsMAE&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nursingmidwiferyboard.gov.au%2Fdocuments%2Fdefault.aspx%3Frecord%3DWD11%252F5938%255Bv8%255D%26dbid%3DAP%26chksum%3DwXgLjFCDoknB6SdLbWeZDA%253D%253D&usg=AOvVaw3jlvUd4hEDPNkhljmvRSs1">AGOS 40</a>, the NMBA requires you a certificate of good standing or certificate of registration status from every jursidiction outside Australia in which you are currently, or have previously been, registered as a health practitioner during the past 5 years.

@dy3p haven't heard of this one yet i thought my license here is not that much of a relevance in the process for ahpra, do you have ideas regarding on how to request that from haad? Will they do the same that haad should be the one who'll be sending those documents to ahpra?
