@pmac hello! my sis got an offer from UNISA today. however dapat ung LOE valid til march 30 2020. Gdluck nman, since one year lng valid ang LOE ng aphra, prang ung mkakapasok lg sa term nato are those that will be issued an loe march 30 2019!!

pahirap ng pahirap ang conditions nkaka sad!

ung loe ng sis ko was already extended until feb 14 2020, originally issued dec16 2018. and aphra stipulated sa letter no further extensions are to be granted.

all schools are either closed, not accepting applications or waiting to be accredited.

dead end ata tong process nila 🙁

CQU told us earlier this month na in order to apply , dapat ung loe valid til jan 3 2020 so we ask for ext from aphra. but now CQU is also not sure nman to accept us, sabi feb pdw sila mag accept ng applications, but also has pending applications last year to entertain.

walang solution ang puzzle Whew!

@jkk32w this Dec 2018 lang din na issue loe nya? Ako kasi Dec 19,2018 lang na issue loe ko. It means ba nun kahit dec 2019 pa validity nun eh depende pa sa school pala? Pang anong batch sya nakuha sa UniSa? As of now closed daw ang UniSa sabi ng agent ko.

Bale ilang months ang bridging ng UniSa at bakit need until march 2020 ang validity? Dapat pala di muna ako mkapag pa extend. Accdg sa case officer ko they will give me extension if may evidence na ko na naka enrol na ko.

@pmac bale your Loe should be valid til the end of the program. un nga problema eh cqu wanted us to have a valid loe bfore applying kaya napilitan sis ko mag ask ng extension else d rin sia mkpag apply for feb. Aug8-March30 ang bridging. i think instead of exact 6mnths na extend dahil matindi ang christmas break dito sa universities heeh tska mrami ang holidays sa first quarter.

Sabi ng Unisa, we can stil ask aphra dw for another ext bec they had several students of the same case before and was granted regardless if nsabihan na sila na no further extensions to be granted.

but at the same time were hopinh anytime now may ibang schools man lg mag open, malaki parin diff sa tuition eh. daming complications— geez pahiran ng pahirap 🙁

@jkk32w Actually ang hirap talaga for our part, kasi kahit may LOE na if wala naman schools na open for bridging, wala din. I’m still hoping na mag reopen ibang schools. And sana yung new revisions nila is mas okay. Pero upon checking sa AHPRA, probisionary pa din yung cbt at osce, parang if di ka qualify din dun, mag undergo pa rin ng bridging. Mas gusto ko na lang mag bridging para sure, mahirap maging guinea pig ng bago program.

@danjoe03 which stage are u na po? 🙂 i called cqu today and they saidthey are not putting back the course sa list that can be applied in i start kc full ndw tlaga for all intakes. ang OA lng..pahirapan na nga magka LOE, mag extend ..pano naging full agad. haaay

@pmac grabe dba nag la lapse nlng ang loe nio wla nman kau naggawa kc wala na schools ..

kainis tlaga. august pa nag apply sis ko sa aphra, nabgay ang loe december na week bfore xmas. sympre closed na lahat for 2019..so ung validity ng loe served no purpose. papel nlng tlaga sia waaaaah 🙁 🙁

@danjoe03 true might as well start checking for other options na pde ka mag start mag process kaisa ma frustrate ka lng.

last option ng sis ko is to do conversion, she applied na last week. though alam namin na 30k plus ang tuition..or baka mag apply nlng ulit ng LOE from step1.

for now frustrated narin sia wla pa gana mag think na back to step1 ulit though kaka issue lg ng loe nia last month..mahirap kc umasa sa schools na puro nman closed at this stage.

@jkk32w same timeline pala kami ng kapatid mo. August din ako nakpag pass sa AHPRA then Dec 19 nga nila binigay ang LOE. Tnry ko habulin maghanap pa ng schools pero wala talaga open. Kaka frustrate sa totoo lang. Pero wala tayo magawa. Mahal naman kasi mag conversion.

hello po im new here in this topic. i am currently in australia and i want to study a course in diploma of nursing. it's a 2 years full time course daw po yun. i am a holder of partner visa 309 palang po or temporary holder . am i eligible po ba sa government subsidy para maka less po kami sa pagbayad ng tuition sa diploma of nursing? sana po may same case sa kin dito.. thanks po sa sasagot.

Hi @pauline I am on partner visa too and if you are still on a temporary residency you are not eligible for government subsidy. Once you have your PR grant that is the only time you can avail a government subsidy thus lesser tuition. Yun din ang hinihintay ko so I can study Nursing. I plan to do a conversion course.

@clea Hi po that is sounds great if you are a PR in AUS u will gain subsidy from governmnt and study Nursing po... my spouse plan same case to study in QLD as she is visa 190 also and she is my dependent. Do you have idea how much you can get loan or subsidy from the govt. thanks
