ECE Graduate but current job is IT

To whom should I submit documents for the assessment of my skills? EA or ACS? My background is as follows:

2yrs Semiconductor industry
2yrs IT/Software

I'm an ECE graduate but my work experience is solid IT. I was assessed by ACS. Maybe it will depend on what career you will pursue in AU since you have equal years of experience in both fields?

@necopon EA ka na lang. ACS kasi usually requires minimum 4years experience for applicants with Engineering backgrounds.

To add with the discussion, could I ask if I am eligible for assessment by ACS even though I am a graduate of BS ECE? I have a 7 years solid experience with Information Technology related job.

I do not have an experience working with ECE related job so I just want to seek advise from you.

If yes po, ano yung kailangan ko i-include sa ACS assessment?

Thank you!</blockquote>no need for prc if your school is from sec 1, pero it would help if your school falls under sec 2 or 3, this is for the purpose of claiming points for education. ece is consider ICT major or minor depende sa school and case officer. I have a few friends na ECE pero was assessed as ICT major, so 2 years lang nadeduct sa knila na work experience.

Hello, follow-up question lang sana dito, kahit expired na license ko as ece ngayon would it still help? Planning to get assessed by acs, bsece section 2 school ako (tup) pero 4 yrs solid it (software tester).. Salamat..

@Mizai01 , no need for the actual ID. yung certificate lang ayos na. yung parang diploma.

Did you get an AQF Bachelor with ICT Major? Minor?

Ilang years po yung deduction na nakuha mo?

I'm a graduate of UST na section 1 school naman (dito ko lang nalaman sa forum na factor pala yung school).

Meron na bang nakakuha ng 2 years deduction only na BS ECE graduate??

So most likely pala eh -4 years na talaga. Oh well, kelangan na lang talaga maachieve ang superior english para tumaas ang points. Hehe.
