@nfronda - balita sa internet ninyo? we just moved in to our house yesterday and today they connected the phone line. okey na telstra namin and we are just waiting for the modem to arrive. hopefully pwede na kami mag online very soon! 🙂

@psychoboy..kinancel na namin ung application namin sa telstra..den nag apply kmi sa westnet.same lg ang package nla sa telstra den telstra din ang mag aactivate ng phone line namin.sa 15 pa e activate ung phone line namin..

sir @psychoboy kmusta po ung internet service nyo?? Dba lumipat ka sa iinet?? iinet din kmi, so far ok namn ung connection nla.. Un nga lg ang bilis nla magrelease ng bills. Ung frst bill namin ay almost $300 daming add ons.. But ok lg.. Den after 2 wks my bill na namn kmi which is $80, yan ang monthly payment namin..Nkakagulat lg ksi ung 2nd bill na $80 ay pra sa period na 21-June to 21-July which is ang due date ay 21 of June kaagad.. Sobrang advance ung billing period nla..

Parehas tayo... We have that one din! 🙂 We paid 2 bills na (worth $200++) and we have a pending na naman for next month na cycle... Ahahaha!!

Ayus naman ang iinet; wala ako masabi after they have fixed our connection... I get average of 7mbps of download speed. Kayo ba @nfronda?

Den ung modem nla, sobrang bilis e connect.. Hndi aq pinagpawisan, ikenonect q lg sa wall after 3 min ayun wifi na kaagad.. 😃

@nfronda Nice!! 🙂 Ako nagka problema lang as there were issues with our Telstra telephone line so hindi makakuha ng adsl2 sync - after pinuntahan ng technician okey na!! Start na ng download...

What I like about iiNet din is the tools which you can be able to keep track of your usage. As mentioned before i have 100Gb peak and another 100Gb of offpeak; akala ko dati kulang iyon pero almost 70% done na kami sa billing cycle and we barely touched the offpeak usage and 50Gb lang ang peak... Eheheeh!! 🙂

to those who are looking for a internet it is really a hit-and-miss thingy

internet speed will always vary on how good your copper line from your house to the nearest exchange

it also depends on how far are you from the exchange .. if you are around 100-200 meter expect a 15-25 mbps .. after a kilomer maybe 10 mbps ... last time were 2km away from exchange we got a 8mbps line ... after 5kms away from the exchange it going to be a whopping 1.5mps speed

if you got money you can get a telstra which is always dependable

Yes gnyan din sakin 100gb peak and 100gb offpeak.. And ung offpeak q hndi pa masyadong nagamit.. Kaya sobra sobra samin ung usage allowance namin..

Anu po ung gamit nyo pag dodownload ng movies? C hubby gus2ng mag dwnload kaso hndi alam kung panu..

Ang alam ko ganon talaga, hanggang MDF lang nila iteterminate ung copper line tapos customer na bahala mag-connect from MDF to CPE.

This is true .. Telstra technician will only connect the copper from their Box to the buildings MDF ... inde sila obligado na i check yung connection from MDF to your unit .... we were TOG before and we have the same problem ... madali naman kausap yung kausap ko nun .. tinagalog ko na lang pinoy naman e .. of course waived yung fee
