sa mga inufferan ng agent ng 489 visa. pd po ba pakitanong if kung 489 ang visa, talagang sa regional areas ka lang pd mag work, like sa QLD, di ka pwede tumira at magwork sa brisbane or gold coast. mukhang walang flexibility kasi un 489.

morning po. meron pa bang nagconsider ng 489 sa QLD . hinde ba mhirap mging PR sa 489 at benefits?.. open tyo hobart 190 sa QLD 489..any suggestion po ano mas prepare nyo sa dalwa in case lang thanks po

Hi @curiousmom , to answer your question make sure that you dig into a lot of research regarding subclass 489 visa.

One of the drawback of this was with visa 489, medicare and some other benefits with will not be provided, unlike visa 190/189. (Kindly double check on this) :-/

The visa 190 gets you directly there, but as mentioned by fellow members above, downside of it was you have to wait to get the nomination, at the moment even ACT is closed :-< . While on the other hand, visa 489 requires you to work/live for 4 years in a regional state while your visa is still valid, but later on you can apply for PR by the help of subclass 887 visa under some conditions. (another cost to take note) X_X

Overall, both visas can get you to permanent residence, it just a matter of choice and preference of the applicant. So if you have a choice and apply for either one, visa 190 is a great choice.

Hello po sa mga members! I just got invited by QLD for subclass 489. Basically, subclass 489 can lead to subclass 887(permanent residency) later on as long as you comply atleast 1 year with min of 35hrs/week sa work mo on a designated regional area where you have been sponsored and by staying on that regional area for 2 years. Medyo mahirap na kase sa occupation nten now unlike last time kaya grab na. 🙂

@janycong after 2 weeks lng nagreply na sila kagad ng invitation. 65pts + 10pts for subclass 489 😃
