As what most people would do, they would try to max out the points available for them. So if you can still gain points with your wife's English proficiency and NAATI, maybe do that. Have you maxed out the points for overseas work experience?
It's a given that it will cost you more money to do more English exam and the NAATI, but it's really up to you if you're willing to wait for invites for those with low points. Very few states are open to sponsor architectural draftsperson under visa 190. If you were onshore, you can get more points by studying or working onshore. 😐
