@lockcode_2004 Hello po, how will i know what points should I claim for the qualifications is it-at least a bachelor degree from an Australian educational institution or other degree of a recognised standard for 15points, or an award or qualification recognised by the assessing authority in the assessment of the skilled occupation for 10 points? Thanks.

it is still there... there is a tab called report; click and explore! 🙂

That's the tab that I was looking for..sa homepage, though, the only main tabs that i see are VISIT, STUDY, WORK, etc...

two scenarios:

A) normally you should request "educational qualification assessment" or "point test advice" from your assessing authority.. part of the assessment result will be:

your positive skills assessment
your educational qualification assessment( whether equivalent to AU degree or AU diploma)
your work experience assessment (how many points to claim for relevant work exp)

B) but for some agencies, wala ng educational qual assessment (separately), kasi kasama na sya as a minimum requirement for your skills assessment..

example, kung nagpapa-assess ka job code A, and ang minimum requirement ng agency is to have an equivalent AU bachelor degree... then lumabas na positive assessment ka... that means, your qualified for that job code, and therefore yung PH degree mo is also equivalent to AU degree (therefore you can claim 15pts)...

now, im not sure about your assessing agency... pakicheck sa website nila..

I also reviewed the result of my assessment, it was stated in the letter that the APC assessment process has three components; an initial assessment of qualifications, an English Test and the Knowledge Assessment of Pharmaceutical Science(KAPS) exam. Following the satisfactory completion of all these three components you will be considered comparable to an Australian pharmacy graduate and will be expected the following to be eligible for full registration to Pharmacy Board of Australia. Gusto ko kasi sana mag try mag lodge ng EOI since positive naman ang initial assessment of work and educational assessment ko and my IELTS ay pasok for 10points, but I'm thinking na baka di din naman ako maka receive ng invitation kasi baka I really need to pass the KAPS exam and IELTS of OBS7.5 with no lower than band 7 in each sub-test and it is also clear to me now that I can only claim 15points for qualifications after completing all of the three components of APC assessment.

Pero bat di ko sya makita mismo sa list ng wa.gov site http://www.migration.wa.gov.au/skilledmigration/Pages/Occupationsindemand.aspx yung profession ko? Thanks.

Last I know, VIC SS take more than 3 months... Definitely worth the wait though!

you might be looking to an old WASMOL from any other website..

WA updates the list from time to time... may inaalis, dinadagdag...

so make sure to check the latest list from the WA immigration website..

yun ang dapat na reference document nyo..

so yes, yung last 3 years lang ang in-assess nila dahil wala kang PTA..

now, dahil ibang job/company yung ibang work experience mo, medyo mahirap i claim kung relevant work experience sya sa nominated occupation mo..

it's a big risk, kung i claim mo sya now, at ma-invite ka at magbayad ng visa fee, panu kung hindi pala relevant, then magkukulang ang points mo at masasayang ang visa fee...

but, if you believe na parehong level of work naman sa na-assess nilang work experience mo,

yes you can claim it.. it's your choice...

at the end, yung CO mo ang magsasabi kung relevant ba yun work exp mo or not..

Guys, may tanong ako. Hope you can help me.

Nagparenew kasi ako ng passport sa DFA bago ako aalis sa january 2014. Then pinaaalam ko sa case officer ko sa DIAC na nagbago ang passport. Nagreply siya na updated na daw yung visa ko with my new passport number. Nung nagcheck ako sa VEVO, di pa rin updated. Hanggang ngayon chinecheck ko old passport pa rin ang nakalagay.

Then, nagrequest din ako ng bagong Visa Grant Notice kasi di ba kelangang ipresent yun sa PDOS sa CFO? Sabi ng case officer, di na daw sila nagiissue ng bagong Notice. Sufficient na daw yung dating notice, then dalhin na lang yung old at new passport. May nakaexperience na sa inyo ng ganito?

Eto yung reply niya ng case officer:

" I have already updated xxxxxxxx passport details in our systems but unfortunately passport number Xxxxxxxxxx is not being picked up in VEVO. I sought assistance from our Client Service Operations to sort this out.

Unfortunately, a grant notification will be not be reissued to reflect his renewed passport. The grant notification issued earlier is suffice to present to the Immigration upon entry to Australia. Please advise Xxxxxxx to bring with him relevant travel documents such as passport (old and new) and grant notification.

In the meantime, I am waiting for a response from our Client Service Operations regarding our query on updating his passport details in VEVO. I’ll keep you updated.

Just bring your old passport; it should not be a problem - you may give a screenshot to your CO and tell them di pa updated VEVO... My 2 cents! 🙂
